This unique take on the traditional IPA style pairs the bold and intense aromas of whole-cone hop "flowers" with aromatic natural rose hips and petals for complex aromas and unexpected flavors.

Clear light orange color, big head, and a strong aroma of spruce. Taste of pine and citrus. Although it seems like this ale will have massive hops, they are rather muted. A pleasant and easy to drink IPA, but not an outstanding one.

Bottled. Slightly hazy orange with a large, off-white head. Light pine, fruity flower petals, caramel candies, light straw aroma. Moderately bitter, mildly sweet with bready yeast finish. Solid.

12oz bottle, 2012 Beer Camp Variety Pack, purchased at Whole Foods in Milwaukee. Pours a deep amber color with an off white head and some lacing. Aroma is hoppy, pine, maybe a little floral, the rose hips and petals I guess. Medium on the palate with average carbonation. Flavor is sweet, malty, bread, cereal, pine hops, some bitterness, a little grapefruit, some floral, with a light bitter finish that lingers for a while. Pretty tasty IPA. Not sure how much the rose hips and petals are doing, but they are a little noticeable.

Pours a rich copper color with a finger or so head that dissipates quite quickly. On the nose there is a bit of earthy hop spice, citrus, sweet malts and a fresh floral note similar to fresh pollen. On the palate its fresh and flavorful but balanced nicely without any overwhelming flavors. Nice floral qualities that play off the earthy hop profile and malty base... good bitterness in the finish.

A few bottles from the mix pack. Pretty tasty ipa, very grassy, some pine, light floral characeristics. Drinks just fine.

Sampled at Beer Revolution on 8/17/2011. This IPA pours a medium orange gold color from the tap. Small to medium sized white foamy head with good retention and nicer lacing. The aroma is floral and citrusy. A medium bodied IPA. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are floral and citrusy. Good carbonation. Medium bitterness, but the bitterness tends to linger. Nice clean and crisp IPA. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

On draft at Beer Revolution. Brewed by Rebekah and Jen (of Beer Revolution) at Sierra Nevada. It pours a nice golden color with a small off white head. The aroma is intense of flowers and citrus hops. The flavor is extremely floral. I was told that this beer is brewed with rose hips and rose petals. It definitely comes through without overpowering the very nice base IPA. Notes of citrus and tea round out the flavor profile before a nice bitter finish. Great job!

Poured up on tap at Taste of Tops with clear gold body and lasting white head. The aroma offers up spicy hops, citrus flavored marsh mellows with a thin ribbon of sweet malts around the edges. The taste has a pleasing spicy hoppiness and rolling into biter citrus hops and a touch of sweet malts. Into the finish and after taste an earthy hop note is noticed too. Tasty IPA

(On draught at Papago). Pours clear copper color with white head. Aroma has juicy hops, pine and a little herbiness. Medium bodied with oily texture. Dry finish. Ok, but has a weird herbiness.
