This unique take on the traditional IPA style pairs the bold and intense aromas of whole-cone hop "flowers" with aromatic natural rose hips and petals for complex aromas and unexpected flavors.

12 oz served in a Great Divide pint glass. A - Slightly hazed amber with 2 fingers of eggshell head that slowly melts into a thick cap. Impressive splotchy lacing left behind. S - Sweet honey, earthy lavender, green stems, caramel malt, doughy yeast. T - Follows the nose with floral hops, lavender, green spinach stems, spicy peppery bite, green chlorophyll on the back end. M - Medium lush feel, crisp feel, medium to moderate carbonation. Lots of green floral going on. A nice change of pace for the style.(My score is based on style).Iím use to tasting old IPAís but this was refreshing. Not something I would want to kill all night but I could put down a couple of these with a smile on. Serving type: bottle 09-11-2012

Bottle: Copper body with a thick, sustainable white head that leaves little lacing in its path. Aroma of heavy citrus, with lots of pine & resin. Smells a bit like Fruity Pebbles, only with some moderately dank & slightly soapy undertones. Flavor loaded with pine, hop oil, resin, bitter grapefruit pith, pineapple rind, & a strong perfumy floral note to finish things off. Staunch bitterness, white peppery & moderately botanical with a light biscuit malt base. Perhaps a little too heavy on the back-end bittering hops. Decent at best, drinkablility gets hampered a bit.

"Iíve been drinking a lot of sessionable hoppy brews lately and really liking em. what this lacks in light body in color, it makes up for in an intensely hoppy dank flavor and aroma. Weed-like hopsm cutrus, and interesting florals from the rose hips play very nice together. "

(bottle - 12 oz) Copper pour with a frothy white head. Way too much carbonation. Mild hop aroma. Rather floral as the name would imply. Flavor is bitter at the start then dries out in the middle. Definitely much more floral than citrusy, and a pity because I prefer the citrus. Too dry and bitter.

Nice amber ale with a solid sheet of light tannish foam. Nose is dank - this is something I would expect from the likes of Lagunitas, not SN. This is onion, weed, body odor, and waaay deep in there a hint of orange concentrate. Not impressed. Flavor is quite bitter with some woody character and then some more onion - people describe the onion in some beers, and I rarely get it, but here itís just vile. Medium bodied with moderated carb. Iím not happy with this at all. Serving type: bottle 08-20-2012

Iím currently rating every SN brew Iíve ever had in one clean sweep. I grew up on the classic SN Pale having it around during high school, and since have watched SN grow into a national representation of incredible craft beer. Living 45 mins away is a treat for the random growler fill. Keep up the amazing work and thanks!

A: Golden Straw Hue/Amber Hue, Passes Some Light, White Head Ring, Some Lacing S: Bready, Floral T: Grainy, Biscuits, Mild Floral M: Average Carbonation, Medium Bodied, Bitter, Mildly Drying Overall, its good if you like bready/grainy IPAs but other than the bitterness and mild floral nose.taste, its way too much graininess.

hazy gold beer with a tidy white head. Palate is light and a little crisp. Mild minerals. Orange hops with a mild marmalade vibe. Malt cream. Nice fruity floralness from the rosehips. Traces of lemon and floralness. Finishes semi dry. Hangs together well and is very drinkable.
