3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A deliciously bitter beer. Aroma was nice. Deep dank hops with not much else. Does it need anything else? Pour was a nice hazy and cloudy burnt orange with a one finger white head and plenty of swirling bubbles.Taste was intensely bitter. Strong citrus hops that bit the cheeks and throat. The rose hips added an even more bitter quality, almost like dandelion. Very nicely done beer with great carbonation.

Nice amber ale with a solid sheet of light tannish foam. Nose is dank - this is something I would expect from the likes of Lagunitas, not SN. This is onion, weed, body odor, and waaay deep in there a hint of orange concentrate. Not impressed. Flavor is quite bitter with some woody character and then some more onion - people describe the onion in some beers, and I rarely get it, but here itís just vile. Medium bodied with moderated carb. Iím not happy with this at all.

Iím currently rating every SN brew Iíve ever had in one clean sweep.
I grew up on the classic SN Pale having it around during high school, and since have watched SN grow into a national representation of incredible craft beer. Living 45 mins away is a treat for the random growler fill. Keep up the amazing work and thanks!

A: Golden Straw Hue/Amber Hue, Passes Some Light, White Head Ring, Some Lacing
S: Bready, Floral
T: Grainy, Biscuits, Mild Floral
M: Average Carbonation, Medium Bodied, Bitter, Mildly Drying
Overall, its good if you like bready/grainy IPAs but other than the bitterness and mild floral nose.taste, its way too much graininess.

22nd December 2012
hazy gold beer with a tidy white head. Palate is light and a little crisp. Mild minerals. Orange hops with a mild marmalade vibe. Malt cream. Nice fruity floralness from the rosehips. Traces of lemon and floralness. Finishes semi dry. Hangs together well and is very drinkable.

Not my favorite brew from this years box but worth the time to drink. The aroma was the best thing about the brew. The flowery hops were awesome to partake in

Bottle shared by drsilverworm. Pours a translucent copper with a white head of foam. Aroma is floral, imagine that, grassy, and herbal. Tastes fine, especially considering the age of the beer.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle Beer Camp variety pack from BevMo: Appeared as a dark golden honey topped with a soapy fluffing of head. Aroma is similar the pale ale recipe except that there is more floral aromas of hops and a heavier presence of bread like malts. The flavor is somewhat bitter yet sweet with some syrupy malts that are balanced with some earthy hops.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
THOUGHTS: Very nice and well-balanced IPA. Tons of flavor but not really as unexpected of flavors as the label claimed. Nearly perfect balance.
TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a truly beautiful, clear, light to medium amber with an average to large, slightly off-white head kept a thick sheet. The aroma had light to moderate caramel malt; moderate floral, perfumey, herbal and grassy hops; and resinous hops when warmer. The initial flavor was lightly sweet and bitter; while the finish was moderately sweet and bitter with an average duration. There was caramel malt, floral, grassy and perfumey hops, and slight citrus hops. It really tasted quite herbal and plant like. The light to medium body was sort of creamy, but oily and then silky then dry with lightly fizzy carbonation and a dry and lightly metallic finish.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Iím rating this long after I should have since this is now about a year old (too old for a fresh IPA). Slightly murky medium orange/yellow with a nice foamy off-white head. Good malt aroma with some grassy notes. Grassy, slightly catty and pine flavor with grapefruit pith bitterness. Really solid and well balanced caramel and biscuit malt behind this. Medium bodied and this lets the hop bite right through to the tongue which stays long after the sip is gone. Very nice West Coast IPA.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottles from the beer camp 12 pack. Orange colored pour with a white head. Smell is huge floral hops (no shit?). Grass, grapefruit, citrus, all are abound in the taste. Good beer, easy to drink. Wish they would make some of these beer camp beers into their all the time line up.
