On draught at Roscoe’s for Sierra Nevada Summit/Tap Takeover. Clear full golden color. Aroma is pepper, sweet light yeast, slight funk, a touch of citrus. Taste is sweet yeast, peppery spice, tropical fruit, and earthiness. A nice hybrid of IPA and saison; not as hoppy as anticipated, but still good.

Dract at ebp. Pours a cloudy pale almber with a loose white head and lots of lace.big fruity tropical orange and mango notes on the nose, enhanced and amplified with a little funky basement from the yeast esters in the background. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Tangy orange, lemon, and tangerine mid palate with nice dry basement funk washing out into a nice dry mineral finish. Really harmonious interaction between yeast and hop here. We’re getting these star crossed lovers closer to reeses peanut butter cup status all the time.

Growler fill from Enoteca in Post Falls, Idaho, whose owner, Russell Mann, helped brew this at Beer Camp! Aroma is extremely floral, strong Belgian yeast character with notes of banana, clove; it’s a little grassy after it warms in the glass, also light cheese, citrus, tropical fruit (pineapple), dusty basement. Pours slightly hazy cantaloupe with a large long-sustaining pillowy white head; leaves a little lace. Nice Belgian character in flavor as well. It’s sweet and spicy with a little bitterness in the finish. Alcohol is noticeable but not overbearing. Body medium to thin, carbonation average for style. Nice beer. It seems a lot more interesting than the beers that made it into this year’s variety pack. We’ll see, cause I’m rating those next.

growler- Pours slightly hazy golden with a one finger head that reduces leaving a nice blanket. Aroma is very floral, tropial fruit, kind of funky and barnyard. The taste is unfortunately not as good as the aroma, still good though, floral, mildly fruity and a decent amount of hops, very drinkable in the heat of summer. Body is medium to thin, carbonation is soft. Nice beer.

Tap @ Tap and Handle Fort Collins. Pours a beautiful hazy bright yellow orange appearance with a fluffy white head. Somewhat spicy, herbal yeasty, grassy, subdued yet bright citrusy, lightly dank aroma. Somewhat juicy, funky, light barnyard, hay, lemon, weedy dank hoppy flavor that finishes pretty dry.
