COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Produced especially for the OBF, Beer Camp’s golden color and medium bodied sweetness comes from pale, Europils, Munich and acidulated malts. Magnum, Crystal and Pacifica hops provide a distinctly American bittering and hop flavor profile without going over the top. The result is a refreshing, balanced, crisp pilsner, easy to drink on a hot summer festival day - or to take with you to beer camp.

Bottle. Pours a golden color with soapy white head. Aroma is grassy hops, baked bread, lemon, and grains. Flavor is just like the aroma with grass and lemon hops followed by bread and cereal malts. I enjoy the flavor quite a bit more than the aroma. Medium-Light bodied on the palate both crisp and smooth. Very refreshing and quite flavorful.

12oz bottle. Clear yellow with a medium white head. Aroma of pils malt, hay, cereal grain and herbal noble hops. Flavor is malty, with a medium hop bitterness and very cleanly fermented. Light body with average carbonation and a crisp finish. Very nice beer, don’t know what makes this Imperial though.

Bottle poured a light golden color with a covering of white head. Aroma has pale malt, light hops, some sweetness, and flowers. Mouth feel is light and crisp with plenty of carbonation. Flavor has a fair bit of hops, medium bitterness, pale malt, and a floral kick.

Bottled. Poured clear, brilliant golden with a nice white head. The aroma picked up crusty bread and mandarin orange, with accents of fresh grassy and herbal hops. The flavor found more bready malts at the core, with crisp lemon zest, fruity, and floral accents with residual grassy and fruity bitterness: tasty and very drinkable. Light-bodied, but with enough carbonation to keep it engaged. tangy, crisp, and well-balanced. Very good.

Bottle; poured a slightly dark gold with a large off white/white head. Aroma of flowers, bread, and lemons. Zesty. Flavor had similar notes, and was drinkable, but not lacking some flavor. Lemons and bread predominantly, but with hints of citrus/flowers. Crisp and good for the style.

12oz bottle pours clear deep gold with near white head of foam. The aroma offers up some cereal graininess and slivers of sugary malts and a bit of vague noble hops. The taste offers up a quick pulse of bitter floral hops and some spicy almost dank like hoppiness before fairly thick and sweet Pilsener like malts and malt graininess come to the surface. The hops pick up a layer of flavor hops into the finish. This has a great play between sweeter malt notes and more bitter hops. I didn’t expect to even like this one and it turned out to be very tasty.
