COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Produced especially for the OBF, Beer Campís golden color and medium bodied sweetness comes from pale, Europils, Munich and acidulated malts. Magnum, Crystal and Pacifica hops provide a distinctly American bittering and hop flavor profile without going over the top. The result is a refreshing, balanced, crisp pilsner, easy to drink on a hot summer festival day - or to take with you to beer camp.

bottle. golden with small head. this is just an excellent pilsner. light but full of flavor. could be slightly hoppier in the finish, but itís great as-is.

12-oz. Pours a clear bright gold with a loose creamy white head. Intensely grassy nose. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Toasty crackers and grass on the mid palate. Gets a little laundry-ish near the finish. Pretty good straight ahead pils, not sure whatís imperial about it. Could be a little crisper.

A bit tart, with a citrus, malt, and grassy flavor. Crisp finish. Refreshing and drinkable.

Floral marigold and dandelion noe, moderately strong. Clear golden, medium head, nice lacing. Dandelion and honey flavor. Light body, no noticeable alcohol. Very nicely done. Drinks more like a nicely made golden ale than a pilsner, imperial or not. Probably the best of this Beer Camp set.

brokensail (10804) - Orange County, California, USA - AUG 24, 2012
Pours a golden color with a white head. Strong biscuit aroma, a touch of cracker, and lots of bread. A floral and lightly herbal hop profile, maybe a slight spiciness to it as well. The flavor is quite heavy on the sweetness. Bread, biscuit, and lots of cracker malt favors. Thereís a nice floral hoppiness, some mild citrus peel, and a solid spicy hop flavor. Quite drinkable.

Poured from bottle, clear golden with thick white head and nice lacing and retention, aroma is of light malt and a slight hop touch, the flavor has a nice sweet front end with a bread and cracker finish, pretty crisp and clean, nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Gold pour with a tall, foamy white head. Noble hops, citrus and bready malts in the aroma. Taste is big grassy hops, biscuit, sweet malt, honey-lemon, and citrus notes. Body is medium with a strong, bubbly carbonation. Ends with more buttered biscuit. honey-lemon, Noble hops, grassy notes, sweet malt and citrus.

Pours clear golden yellow with a large white soapy head. The aroma has pils malt that is richer than normal, bready, spicy/grassy hops and some floralness not usually with the style - quite nice. Medium crispy bright body with frothy sharp carbonation. The flavor begins with clean pils malt, crackers, spicy hops and fresh cut grass. The finish adds a bit of sulfur. Quite nice pils.

355 mL bottle. Not sure why 5.6% is "Imperial," but whatever. Nice gold colour, but the white head disappears quickly. Has the pilsner malt/noble hop aroma, but not in an imperial sense. Same for the flavour. Itís just a solid pilsner.
