COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Produced especially for the OBF, Beer Camp’s golden color and medium bodied sweetness comes from pale, Europils, Munich and acidulated malts. Magnum, Crystal and Pacifica hops provide a distinctly American bittering and hop flavor profile without going over the top. The result is a refreshing, balanced, crisp pilsner, easy to drink on a hot summer festival day - or to take with you to beer camp.

Bottle. Medium golden colour with a lasting tight white head. Aroma is very hoppy, perfumey and grassy. Light biscuit malt pairs well with floral green grassy hops. Very drinkable, absolutely awesome for patio sunshine days. Not getting the imperial designation though-- is it meant to imply that they hopped the shit out of it?

Bottle. Pours a fairly clear gold with a medium sized white head. Big musky grain on the nose, crisp noble hops, dusty and musky. The grain is so deep that it picks up a nutty quality. Medium bodied, grainy and smooth, toast and a light touch of warming alcohol. Long grain, a touch of lemon, faint musk and grain.

Bottle from bhensonb. Pours clear yellow gold with a nice white head and a light floral aroma. There is a medium-bodied crystal malt flavor, slightly sweet, but turning dry and bitter. Crisp and refreshing.

35,5 cl bottle @ lusikka, bottled 17.06.2012
Aroma is somewhat heavy with butter, honey, some grassy hops and grainy malt. Flavour is sticky with honey, grainy malt and some grassy notes. Exactly what it promises to be – a heavy pilsener.

12oz bottle pours clear deep gold with near white head of foam. The aroma offers up some cereal graininess and slivers of sugary malts and a bit of vague noble hops. The taste offers up a quick pulse of bitter floral hops and some spicy almost dank like hoppiness before fairly thick and sweet Pilsener like malts and malt graininess come to the surface. The hops pick up a layer of flavor hops into the finish. This has a great play between sweeter malt notes and more bitter hops. I didn’t expect to even like this one and it turned out to be very tasty.

355 ml bottle.
Pours a clear yellow colour with a small foamy head. Aroma of fresh floral hops and grains. Flavour of grainy malts, floral hops, grass, hay and juicy fruits. Medium bodied, soft carbonation and a grassy bitter finish. Good, but no way an imperial pilsner.

Bottled. Poured clear, brilliant golden with a nice cap of white head. The aroma picked up crusty bread and lemon zest, with accents of fresh grassy and herbal hoppage.. fresh and well-balanced. The flavor found more bready malts at the core, with crisp lemon zest, fruity, and floral accents.. picked up some honey on the finish, along with residual grassy and fruity bitterness.. tasty and very drinkable. Lighter-bodied, but with enough carbonation to keep it engaged.. tangy, crisp, and well-balanced.. really good brew.
