COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our aggressive Imperial Red Ale is a massive mix of smooth malts and West Coast hops that have no patience for the lupulin leery. This crimson beer starts with caramel-like malt flavor that canít suppress the assertive, citrusy hop finale.

Bottle from the Folsom BevMo. Pours dark ruddy copper with a slight beige head. Aroma is malty with a touch of citrus. Med body. Flavor is malty with a heavy dose of citrus/resin hop. Maybe even something earthy in here. Itís tending towards a dry finish, but the malt is strong. Drinks very nicely.

Decent. Pours red with a tan head. Aroma is primarily sweet malt and hops. Taste is full of bread notes, finishes bitter hops.

Draft. Caramel beer with a cream head. Light grapefruit and light caramel aroma. Grapefruit and caramel flavor with pine and light aspirin. Medium bodied. Grapefruit and caramel linger with light pine and light aspirin.

12oz bottle, 2013 vintage, beer camp #95. Dark red color, with lots of fine particles suspended in the body. Good thin khaki head, leaves decent lace. Piney, grapefruity, spicy big west coast hops, here. Spicy, chocolate malts, light caramel. Bigger body. Smooth, lighter, kind of tingly / softer carbonation, with a more dry finish. Bigger bitter taste, light sweet, and a spicy finish. Good assertively hoppy, spicy imperial red!

Aroma is pine, green onions/celery and spices. The flavor is citrus, grapefruit, a good hint of green onions/celery that fades into being more mild heat, malts and a dry and bitter finish. Could have done without the green onion/celery flavor, otherwise it was decent.

Bottle. Deep garnet pour, one-finger beige head. Nose is resiny, with notes of dark berries, candied citrus, caramel, and bark. Sweet and hoppily bitter. Sticky but dry palate. I donít generally dig this kind of beer, but this one sort of hit the spot.

Hoppy slightly sweet berry notes. Off white foamy head and dark red body. Nice bitter hoppyness slight earthy sweet fruityness some heat in the aftertaste. Crisp dry and a little bitter and hot on the palate

Absolutely delicious. Glows bright red in the sun. Perfect balance of hops and maltiness. Huge red1

Aromas of nutty, caramelized malts, and citrusy hops, with some booze. Clear ruby-bronze with a mostly fading, off-white head. Dry, somewhat fruity, and very balanced. Medium bodied, strong, and with a very clean finish, especially considering the high ABV.

Bottle to snifter (shared with the Mrs.). Bottle says itís Beer Camp #95. Looks good; a hazy dark amber with light beige lacing. Smells of big caramel malt with a fairly bitter hop profile and a bit of soapiness, but not unpleasantly so. Tastes like it smells with a solid mouthfeel. Enjoyable.
