Bought a mix-12 "Beer Camp" pack of this from Payless Liquors in Fisher, IN for $14.99. Poured one of the 12 FL. OZ. bottles w/ a Dark Maroon Label and a Wooden Brew Kettle in a forest into a 16oz Pint Glass. Has 2178206:38 on the front of the bottle neck.
Aroma- Tons of mixed fruits in the aroma. Citrus and much more. Malt pops up big as well.
Appearance- Pours a .5 finger head that has average retention. Has a dark amber/copper body with almost no clarity. Leaves thick lacing behind.
Flavor- Malty, bit of caramel, and a mix up of fruits are all present in this complexed brew. Light-Medium hop bitterness.
Mouthfeel- Medium-Full Bodied, Medium Carbonation, Sweet, and finishes with tons of hop. Finally the hops come into play! Very spicy and strong.
Overall Impression- My 3rd from the "Beer Camp" Series and was above average. Not sure why the hops couldn’t have came up sooner in the taste! Very enjoyable though and will be popping another one of these. Glad there are 3 of each to the pack!

Some orchard fruits. A bit herbal. Woody, dry finish. Medium body, definitely a sipper. Slightly boozy. Overall, quite tasty but not balanced enough to enjoy repeatedly.

12 oz. bottle. Aroma of strong hops, grapefruit, citrus pine and resin. I also get notes of chocolate, tobacco and earth. This beer has strong caramel tones. Flavor is rich, hoppy with a full malt backing. Nice, herbal and citrus hop notes. There are also some caramel notes. It has a nice full body, good carbonation. This is a nice beer from Sierra Nevada. It’s not something that will gain a lot of hype but a good example of an interesting cycle.

Pretty ruby amber pour, big head. Sticky pine sap on the nose, with some caramel. Flavor is hop-forward, with a good malt counter behind. Far more robust than an IPA with the same hop bill. Warming, and very tasty.

Flavor starts wit a sweet and lightly citric note that becomes more piney and herbal as it moves along. A slight cocoa note in the finish with some breadiness and a moderate bitterness. Medium body and a crisp carbonation.
