4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Onionkid (301) - Fayetteville, Arkansas, USA - OCT 6, 2012Bottle. Oooh, that’s hoppier than I expected! A pretty solid blend here...basically tastes like a red ale, only the caramel and toffee is way more noticeable than the ones I usually have. This is borderline a big beer with that alcohol, so that’s pretty nice that it’s blended so well! I like the hops to this, a bit floral and a bit bitter on the end. Just enough to add to the palate overall. Will absolutely say this is the best "red" I’ve had...usually I’m displeased with this variety but loving this one! 8.1% abv.

Nice colour & smell. However the flavour didn’t live up to the aroma, giving a slight anticlimax.
