3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Mane Liquor. Had it last week, can’t remember what it looked like. Upfront aroma of spicy resin, pine needles and caramel malt. Body was thick, lots of piney bitterness and a sweet, spicy resin aftertaste. Nice lingering bitterness and lingering caramel. Really well balanced IPA, my favourite from this years Beer Camp.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured from bottle to glass. Very hop forward aroma. Large foamy white head that dissipated quickly. Taste is atypical of California beer - Cascade hops and fruity. Quick off the palate. Overall, not bad if you enjoy a hoppy IPA.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12fl oz bottle. Pours clear golden sunset with and amazing thick and creamy white head. Nice resinous piney aroma with a hint of citrus and perfume. The resinous pine dominates the flavour with a big bitter kick, alas the sweet malt backbone balances it well. Not bad but not really my style.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from mane liquor. Pours a golden orange with a white head that holds. Nose has floral hops, citrus, herbal spices and earthy flowers. Quite grassy. Taste is more of the earthy herbal spices - cloves and citrus hops main flavours. Booze is there but not in the way. Overall solid ipa

From a bottle. Pours cloudy orange medium brown with a thin white head and particles floating around. Smells creamy, like citrus hops, dry grains, light coffee, and toast. Medium body and carbonation. Tastes like vegetables, dark fruits, caramel, dry citrus hops, and musk.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle thanks to beerandblues2. Pours mostly clear amber with creamy white head and suspended particulates throughout. Aroma is spicy, floral, and grassy hops, biscuit and cereal malts, light citrus, some caramel, and faint toast. Flavor is pine and grassy hop bitterness throughout with dry malts, light grapefruit, and faint dry woody notes; dry finish with some lingering bitterness. Medium body and low carbonation.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from a 12oz bottle. One of three bottles in the Beer Camp 12 pack. Fantastic IPA right here. Really mailed a fantastic hop bite without going overboard. Wish this was offered on its own year round.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz. bottle at Moerlein Lager House. Beer Camp #93, 2013. Pours a cloudy orange-gold with a finger of cream-colored head that leaves a trailing sheet of lace within the glass. Notes of citrus, herbs, pepper, pale malt, and straw. Bitterness comes from the citrus peel and floral notes. Light-medium bodied, with moderate to medium carbonation and a dry, bitter mouthfeel. Well-done IPA.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz. bottle. Pours a thick, well retained ivory head, with extensive lacing, over a slightly hazy amber (SRM 10) body......nose is pine, citrus peel, cereal malts, light toffee/caramel.....taste is light sweet toffee/caramel, with pine, citrus, slightly floral, leading to a lingering, moderate pine, citrus bitter finish....mouth feel light of medium, carbonation makes a light acid finish. This is a nicely balanced IPA. The malts were used enough to control the hops which were used in a moderate way (whole hop cones), the result is a pleasant easy drinking beer, which is not hop dominated as are many from this brewery. 4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
355ml bottle from Drinkstore. Light amber, lovely big frothy white head, nice lacing. Pine, resin, red fruits, orange zest, pithy notes and sweet caramel nose. Big flavour, grapefruit hop blast, backed by plenty of sweet, sweet malt. Decent body, pretty highly carbonated. Long finish, really bitter. Great stuff.
