This IPA sacrifices nothing for its drinkability, flexing big time flavor and complexity. The light color disguises the depth of the malt backbone, a pillar that balances the potent whole-cones of the piney-citrus Cascade and tropical fruit-like Citra hops.

12floz bottle.
Pours a darkish golden orange with a fine white head.
Nose is orange, pineapple, peach and a slight bit of dough.
I get an interesting fairy floss note right on the attack, but it’s quickly swept away by some candied orange, then followed by a piney, grapefruit finish.
Body is medium, perfect carbonation for an IPA as usual.
This beer tastes strangely sweet to me, without actually being particularly malt driven if that makes sense. It’s all hop flavours, but all malt sweetness. Interesting, though I can’t help but wonder if something was lost in its trip around the world.

Light golden pour with a nice creamy with head. Fairly strong lemon citrus and pine needle aroma. A little floral, but nothing too over powering. A fairly light IPA, good citric notes, pretty strong pine resins and a good biscuity malt base. Not a large alcohol hit, good juicy tropical fruits. Fairly dry hoppy finish, some good malt dough and good crisp bitterness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle, thanks to Doug. The pine hop character dominates, the aroma of Citra hops was noticeable upon opening. The flavor is hoppy, pine, fruity, earthy, citrusy, the malts are woody, toffee, toast. Not bad.

Bottle- hazy dark gold colour, with thin white head. Hoppy piney aroma, similar in the taste with nice maltiness. Softly carbonated, medium bodied. Nice long lightly bitter finish. Nice.

Smoky floral IPA that turned more fruity as it warmed. Strong and strongly bitter may be a bit off putting at first but I enjoyed it.

Pours clear golden copper with an off-white head. The aroma has pine, floral hops, toasty malt, cotton, caramel, cream and some fruitiness. It has a medium body with light husk and mild sharp abrasive carbonation. The flavor starts with earthy and pine hops, bone dry crackery malt, some spice, dry herbs and floral notes. The finish has lots of earthiness, tree-like traits and dry caramel malt. Solid IPA.

Bottle picked up at ’Jacks’ Westholme Stores, Goring-on-Thames, Oxon, 20 November 2013 consumed at home, Thursday 21st November 2013 Dark gold edging towards light amber with a white small bubbly medium head, slight haze but not much. Fuzzy bitterness rippling acoss my tongue, a little soapy hops perhaps but I like the citra and cascade combo’. Soft in mouth little zappy, big pithiness, really zipping about, great bittersweet balance, great beer. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov16 3.9
