3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pretty standard IPA from SN. Aroma is a citrus fruits and pine. Taste is somewhat similar. Good looking beer in the class. Not bad.

Bottle pour to shaker. Piney with malt dominating over the hops; a bit watery finish.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a beautiful clear copper color with creamy one finger head. Aroma is unique, with musty hops, yeast, tropical fruit, grass. Hmmm, strange. Flavor is lacking in hop flavor for the style, with mostly watered down malt flavor here with some slightly bitter grass. Very drinkable I guess but not something I want to drink. Hopefully I just got a bad bottle? Not very good.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz bottle, part of the 2013 Beer Camp mixpack. Labeled 6.9%. Mostly clear orange color. Thin white head, decent ropes and dots of lace. Flavor to me is predominantly spicy malty, with a disappointing lack of pine, citrus, or tropical notes. Stronger, soft carbonation. Lightly dry finish. Spicy hop in the finish, little pine. Lingering, bitter bitter finish, little to no sweet. Hint of floral. What malt profile is there tastes mostly metallic. Not big on this one.. Harder to drink than it should be. Maybe something’s wrong with my bottle. 6/4/6/3/12
Edit: I put half the glass in the cooler and came back to it 2 hours later. A lot more drinkable now that the carbonation has died down, way less dry. Bitterness is a bit more agreeable but still not all that pleasant. It gained 2 points as it sat, but something about this IPA still just doesn’t work for me

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Overall a pretty decent IPA with the typical piney/citric hop profile, however there is not much to make this beer stand out from the 1000’s of other IPAs out there.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz bottle from 2013 Beer Camp. Pours amber with a white head. Good lacing. Pine, grapefruit hop flavor. Starts off great but finishes a bit too malty for my liking. Still a decent IPA.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Aroma of herbs with a less noticeable amber malt note. Amber/copper appearance with a quick disapating foam. Well balanced flavors of burnt caramel, sticky molasses, herbs and assertive hop presence. Overall, this is a bit of a maltier IPA with some rich depth. Pretty enjoyable. A rating.

#93. Strong earth floral hops some grassy sweet citrus. White creamy head and bright bubbly orange body. Nice stong hop flavor some fresh citrus and good earthyness. Crisp and refreshing on the palate.
