Bottle. Cloudy golden beer with a strong white head. The aroma is lightly hopped, and the flavour is very strongly hopped with a very bitter finish. Overall a nice very strongly hopped and bitter IPA.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Reviewed from notes.
The appearance had a somewhat golden amber colored body with a one and a half finger white foamy head with semi-thick super clingy lacing that leaves some rings as the beer goes down, leaves an awesome lumpy looking valley of a head as it goes down, light carbonation is seen rising at a moderate pace.
The smell was earthy, resinous, piney, citrusy hops up front, a little bit of biscuit malts underneath.
The taste was pretty much the same and adds a decent spiciness in the flavoring, light resinous aftertaste, dry bitter finish.
On the palate, she sat at/about a light to medium, and was pretty sessionable. Carbonation was good for the style and for me - but could be construed a bit more watery than most AIPA’s.
Overall, hey now, this was a pretty good AIPA that I would have again.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
355ml bottle, pours hazy deep golden brown with a small head. Aroma is malt forward with caramel and biscuit balanced with piney hop and citrus aromas. Great balance, hop aroma not as in your face and fresh as some US IPA’s, still a very good beer with great balance.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle at home from drinkstore
Dark amber with off white head. Floral, slightly saponic nose, nettley herbal bitterness, touch of lemon pith and full body, good malt character but hops faded perhaps.

Nice floral aroma and citrus notes to start with a straightforward Sierra hoppy backbone that is crisp and not too sweet.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, Beer Moth, Manchester. Amber pour with a decent white head. Resinous hop, citrus/tropical fruits and sweet malts present in the nose. Flavour was slightly sweet and ran along similar lines with some nice resinous hop and a tidy balance. Dry bitter finish. A very solid and drinkable offering, SN continue to maintain a high standard of output.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Flaska från SB. Lätt grumlig bärnsten med liten krämig skumkrona. Mycket kolsyra. Doftar av gräs och blommor med en lätt ton av hö. Smaken är kraftigt besk men utan uppbackning av maltkropp. Beskan blir sedan skarpare och klingar av i eftersmak av gräs och örter.

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
350ml brown bottle, 2013 years vintage, poured into a Spiegelau Sierra Navada branded IPA glass. Appearance is cloudy orange with a medium sized thick beige head, that when reduced left some lacing. Aroma of orange, grapefruit, lemon peels and a hint of pineapple. Flavours of orange, grapefruit, lemon peels, pineapple, resin and a hint of caramel. Taste is light sweet and heavy bitter. Palate is medium bodied, slightly sticky texture and lively carbonation. Beer Camp is overly hopped noticeably lacking a robust malt base, Sierra Nevada Brewing Company brews other IPA’s better than this.
