Bottle at Bishop’s Arms, Malmö, Norra Vallgatan
Cloudy amber color with small head. Very nice hoppy aroma, fruity, orangey, resiny, with some leafy hops (reminds me if a hop cabinet). Dry but smooth mouthfeel; ordinary flavor, a bit caramellish, strong resiny bitterness.

Sierra Nevada’s Beer Camp #93 has a bold, caramelized orange color and an incredibly frothy off-white head. The lacing on this beer is spotty and web-like, but phenomenal. The nose is sweet, with moderately caramelized malts and Cascade hops dominating. There’s something dirty and rustic about the aroma that really earns your respect.
That rustic grain flavor leads in the flavor, with a distinctive, meaty, fibrous grain character that balances well with the hop-forward characteristics of the Cascade and Citra hops. The hop flavor is deep and complex, full of character and defines the flavor after the grain flavor washes out. There’s just enough of the right kind of caramelized malt to create the perfect backdrop to the fresh, deep hop presence.
It finishes sweet, sticky, and oily, with a touch of acidic citrus hops and a nearly resinous, piney bitterness that’s more fresh than intense. It is a little thicker, overall, than what I was expecting, making it a filling IPA... not necessarily a session ale, but I could still see myself drinking a few of these in a row.

A fresh and fruity fragrance. The taste is greatly bitter yet very fruity. The aftertaste continues with the heavy bitterness that fills the mouth very well forever. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.
