COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This IPA sacrifices nothing for its drinkability, flexing big time flavor and complexity. The light color disguises the depth of the malt backbone, a pillar that balances the potent whole-cones of the piney-citrus Cascade and tropical fruit-like Citra hops.

Almost clear amber beer with a good white head. Palate is light and semi dry, mildly crisp. Smooth malt, semi dry, touch of cream. Light and bitter floralness, citric marmalade, builds to a medium bitterness. Semi dry finish with a mellow bitter linger. Somewhat muted, but fine.

Cloudy amber color with small head. Very nice hoppy aroma, fruity, orangey, resiny, with some leafy hops (reminds me if a hop cabinet). Dry but smooth mouthfeel; ordinary flavor, a bit caramellish, strong resiny bitterness.
Quite good.

Bottle. A clear, dark golden beer topped by a small, white head. The aroma is a tad weak, with some pale malts and a touch of pine cones and citrus peel. Medium body, pleasant carbonation and quite dry. A bit weak I think, and that goes for the flavor too. There’s a nice bitterness, but besides that it’s pretty weak. Lasting bitter finish with pine cones, resins and citrus peel. Overall, a tad boring, but I guess it would be better completely fresh. 140418
