4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Deep golden brew that has the aroma and taste of pine hops. Some citrus flavors came out but mostly a pine resin flavor. Really good brew but then Sierra Nevada is one of my favorite breweries that normally doesn’t let me down. Excellent brew at an affordable price. Will be picking up more of this one.

355ml bottle from Drinkstore. Light amber, lovely big frothy white head, nice lacing. Pine, resin, red fruits, orange zest, pithy notes and sweet caramel nose. Big flavour, grapefruit hop blast, backed by plenty of sweet, sweet malt. Decent body, pretty highly carbonated. Long finish, really bitter. Great stuff.

Golden-orange with a creamy white head. Aroma of citrus fruits- orange, grapefruit, pine, sweet malt. Sweet with a lovely bitter finish. Slick oily texture, low-medium carbonation. Really, really good beer... Pretty much a perfect IPA.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
355mL green label 2013 mixed pack offering. Clear deep amber with massive, rocky off white foam. Huge lace. Nose is bright herbal hops, flowers, mandarin orange, heavy resin. Taste is similar, about as rich of an ipa palate as I can handle with pine needle and resinous cone density, more mandarin orange and some bright fruitiness. Brilliant as always from Sierra Nevada, the unhyped original IPA kings.

4.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Light orange pour. Nice white crown of head and lacing. Very little aroma. Flavor is lemon and orange. Definitely has that citra pineapple thing going on. Soft and chewy. Reminds me of those starburst gummy candies they used to make. Nice balance where nothing is overwhelming, but it’s never boring either. Just the slightest bitterness in the finish. Much more drinkable than Torpedo. Mouthfeel is foamy, chewy, and slicky all together. I just wish there was more aroma, but that’s a nitpick.

12 oz into a stemmed boulevard bulbous glass. Head is massive, complete and full of volume, a nice opening pour here. then it subsides to a nice covering of the entire brew. Color is dark bronzed orange. Taste is earthy hoppy, oraganic grass, flavourful tart citurs, and fresh hops. A well rounded brew here, easily drinkable, tasty and full of ipa goodness all over. Aroma is grass, hops, soil, pine, grapefruit and slight weed. Cant go wrong with the beer camp.
