3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured from bottle a clear pale, golden color with a minimal head. A light malty aroma and a slight alcohol smell. Iím not getting other smells. Maybe some hop smells, but a lightly bitter taste. Body of the beer is very light. overall, I donít think I am a fan of this style. Rather have an IPA with a clear hoppy/citrus taste or a Pale Ale.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
From memory. This beer had a nice sweet malty flavor, not to much hop in there. Overall, very enjoyable as with anything from Sierra Nevada.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
This company does everything good. A nice brew with a sweet malt, floral, spice flavor.
Iím not really sure what a California common is as far as style, but I like it.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Orange color. Semi sweet hoppy aroma. Light but complex. The best of the beer camp series in my mind.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pale orange pour with a small white head. The Aroma is also very light, some hop, pine and a touch floral. The taste is crisp and sharp, the finish is quick a very easy drinking beer.
The surprise with this beer was the nice malt tones.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle: Poured a slightly hazy light beige color ale with a nice foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of West Cost hops with citrus and pine notes more abundant then expected with some solid cereal notes. Taste is also dominated by some citrus notes and some pine hoppy notes though are offset by some solid cereal notes with limited sweetness. Body is quite full with good carbonation. Well brewed and quite enjoyable though with the amount of hops in this one we are getting away from the style guideline.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Rich body, average head, light amber color. Hops noticeable in finish. Could give Anchor Steam a run for their money!

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled, labeled as Beer Camp #8 California Common. Dark orange in color with a small, bright white head that diminishes to a thin, lasting ring. Spicy pine and nectarine aroma with moderately pungent caramel malts and a whiff of alcohol. Caramel and toffee flavors are most prevalent atop mildly toasted grains. Dry, slightly fruity (oranges) finish with a lingering sweet nuttiness. Solidly carbonated with a slick texture. Thanks to Narnad for setting this aside for me, I appreciate it!

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
12oz bottle from spinrsx. Clear light amber with a thin white head that pretty much disappears. Very light aroma, mild hops and malts, bit of pine and lemon. Smooth and light but a decent body, mild bitterness and carbonation, becomes dry with an off putting sweetness and malt taste at the end.
