On tap at Churchkey for the tap takeover. Clear copper pour with a medium white head. Caramel malt, biscuity breadiness, and resinously hoppy dark fruit lead to big caramel dark fruit and sticky sap. Full body with filling carbonation and a sticky finish. Super mild oxidation.

Pour on tap at Parry’s Pizza, dark red pour with thin white head, aroma brought notes of garlic, onion notes with hints of pine and grass, touch of biscuit, caramel notes, hints of orange in there as well. Taste is a bit odd with a herbal note, touch of grass and pine, hints of orange, caramel and toffee, slight earth, finishing fairly bitter.

At Avery’s 2012 Strong Ale Fest. Clear amber with that signature foamy thick light khaki head from SN. Aroma is sticky floral hops, dank sweet malts, and a touch of citrus. Taste is kinda weird, with flavors of bitter pine hops, light caramel, a touch of cardboard, more herbal hop bitterness, and some weird malty sweetness, not sure how to place it.
