2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at Trappeze in Athens, GA. This poured pale straw yellow with an ample head. It gave off earthy-sweet aromas, with the honey dominating the flavor to highlight the sweeter elements of rye grain. The honey also gave this more effervescence than I normally like in a beer, which lent a hint of wheat beer to the whole enterprise. Interesting, but not fantastic.

(draft @ Tap and Mallet - Rochester, NY) Clear orange pour with a soapy white head. Light aroma with a decent amount of dry rye and very light honey. Some grass as well. Flavor was bitter and dry, mainly from the rye. The honey took a powder somewhere along the line but there’s a very mild sweetness. Watery and bitter.
