I had this at Global Brew. Pours gold with a white head. Taste sweet, fruit, with some bitterness. I thought this was good. I would drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

"Not sure why blonde is in the name, as this isn’t any lighter than a score of IPAs I can think of off the top of my head. Aroma and flavor are dominated by a clove like spiciness and the hops only shine through as a herbal pleasantness. A nice beer, not a good IPA. Hmmm..."

On tap at the Torpedo Room in Berkeley. Puts orange gold with a white head. Light Belgian esters mingle with grassy hops in the aroma. Flavor is light banana pith with grains and grass and a mineral finish.

On tap at O’Briens in San Diego in 2013; backlogged rating. Light golden color and a fine pillowy head. Classic Belgian blond yeasty aroma with notes of clove, pear, grass and white grape. Mellow dry flavor with a character of hay, citrus, pear and biscuit. Finishes dry with a lasting flavor of bitter pepper. Simple and straightforward. I like.

Keg Half Pint at White Horse American Beer Festival 2013, Parsons Green, London in July 2013 - Pale Gold in colour. Very Hoppy; resinous and floral hops. Fruity; lemon citrus, banana, hint of coconut. Spicy and Yeasty. Malty; bready malts, caramel. Terrific hop bite. Lovely bitter hoppy fruity throughout. Enjoyed this. Belgian Ale meets American-style IPA. Nice beer!

Draft. Golden color with a white head that hung around. light aroma with a bit of fruit with a very light hop smell. Taste has a lot of creamy banana from the yeast with a nice hop bite at the end. Better than I expected.

Tasted at the 16th Bistro IPA Festival on April 6, 2013. This India Pale Ale pours a medium orange gold color from the tap. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity, yeasty, sweet and estery. A medium bodied India Pale Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are citrusy and herbal. A very Belgian Like beer, fruity and estery. The bitterness kind of sneaks up on you, builds as you go. Nice carbonation. Lots of residual sweetness, and some nice bitterness at the finish. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Euston Tap. Keg. Light haze on this gold beer, small white head. Palate is soft with good fine carbonation. Softish creamy malt, semi sweet. Startling flavours of cream, banana, mint and flowers! Trace of generic fruits and a whisper of bubblegum. Finishes smooth and creamy with nibbly carbonation. Mild orange bitterness in the aftertaste. Different and quite complex.

Tap at Friends of Ham, Leeds. Clear gold colour. Thick, tight, lasting white head. Looks the bee’s knees. Yeasty, light fruit, bubblegum. Some caramel sweetness. Low carbonation. Sweetish finish. Nice beer, not sure where the IPA bit comes into it, though.
