Sold only on draft at the brewery. A wonderful old world style ale. This very light flavored ale is brewed using 50% Maris Otter English malts, Challenger hops and Styrian Golding hops from Slovenia. A refreshing brew for Spring.

Draught at Sierra Nevada, listed as 4.5%. Clear pale straw with a well-retained 1 1/2 finger fluffy white head. Smells a lot like the pils, but lighter and none of the slightest hint of sulfur that I failed to add in my pils review, though I did get a tinge. Grassy noble hops up front, light pasta. Some toasty biscuits and a tinge of nondescript ale yeast are also present. Flavor be the same. Bitterness peaked at a 2-3, so only my mom would be offended. Semi-dry finish. At some point I got the lightest note of lemon zest. Light to thin body with light to moderate smooth carbonation. Bottle this and you’ve got a first e lawn mower beer. As it is, a fine beer to drink on Sierra Nevada’s patio on this 100 degree day. Christ it’s warm!

(Old BA rate - tap) Very light gold color; completely translucent. Poured with little (or perhaps a quickly disappearing head). Light biscuity malt, like pre-baked bread sourness. Subtle hops, and a touch sour (yeast?) with very light malt . Light prickly carbonation, pretty thin body, but very much within the style. Wow, very easy to get into. Not an inaccessible brew, and demands more than one. Overall, lacks a great deal of complexity, but does well for a style that is not often undertaken. Great session beer for warmer weather.

Deep gold pour with a foamy head. Light fruit, sweet malt, a bit of grassy hops. Highly drinkable and refreshing.

Tap at BT. Pours a clear medium golden with a thin white head somewhat lasting. Aroma is mostly clean light doughy yeast, light biscuit, some floral hoppy notes and light esters. Flavor is lightly corny and cracker malts, toast, light yeast and light citrus and earthy floral hops- clean finish.

Pours gold with a clingy white, but small, head. Aroma seems grassy. Flavor is quite grassy. A god, substantial "light" ale. It is nobly bitter.

Draught at Bishop’s Arms SoFo, Stockholm. Cloudy golden, small but persistant head. Fruity nose with plenty of hay. Fairly light bodied with chewy mouthfeel. Flavours of ripe fruit, crystam lat and hay. Balaned bitterness. A pleasant easy going beer!

Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival 2009. Deep golden color. Sweet perfumed aroma with hay or malt husk and good fresh maltiness. Malty, hayish and honeyish flavor with low bitterness. Smooth palate. Tasty easy drinking beer with good maltiness.

Draught at The Crows Nest. Straw yellow with a medium creamy white head with some clingy lace. The aroma is predictably understated, with spicy, woody hops and cracked grain maltiness with a little bread underneath. The flavor is clean and dry with some noble hop spice and medium-light bitterness in the finish. Pleasantly light and bready malt that gives a touch of sweetness and body. Hint of citrus, but not very fruity overall. Light bodied with crisp carbonation and a very clean feel. Just a really solid and drinkable blond with the perfect balance of malt and hop flavors. Nothing to impressive overall, but well executed and seems somewhat inspired. I like their take on blonde ale.

Golden amber color, big cloudy off-white head. A bit metallic, lemony, pale malty aroma, some hard grassy hops too. Pale malty with some caramel and light hops, a bit bready. Boring.
