Iím currently rating every SN brew Iíve ever had in one clean sweep.
I grew up on the classic SN Pale having it around during high school, and since have watched SN grow into a national representation of incredible craft beer. Living 45 mins away is a treat for the random growler fill. Keep up the amazing work and thanks!

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
There was a slightly sweet malty aroma but not very strong. The color was a clear brown almost amber color with very little foam. The taste was a little sweet but it gave way immediately to a bland bitterness. The body was a little thin as well. I got almost nothing out of this beer.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap at GBBF 2012. Deep brown colour. Slightly boozy malt aroma. Taste is very smooth, malty, caramel, toffee, slightly sweet. A bit fuller of body than some of the traditional English brown ales. Well made and enjoyable, if not super exciting.

Cask at CK. Pours a clear, deep maroon with a dwindling beige head. Nose is twizzlers and white grape juice. Taste is watery, sharper nutty bitterness, cloying white grape juice and heavy cherry juice box. Sugary, bland, odd bitterness.

4.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Medium bodied, dark, mocha flavored with a little hoppy kick. Very flavorful with a nice head. One of my favorite beers. A shame they stopped bottling it.
