Bottle. Dark brown pour w/ small head. Not at all memorable, was expecting much more. Smooth taste but very weak. Typical brown but very weak.

On tap @ Tap and Handle Foco during another massive Sierra Nevada tap takeover. Pours a burnt orange/brown appearance with a light brown head. Biscuity, caramel, slightly nutty, bready aroma. Medium light body. A touch of fruit, pecan, caramel flavor. Moderate high sweetness. Some biscuity notes. Drinks fine but nothing special.

Brownish pour, cream colored head. A pretty standard mix of caramel malts, lightly spiced hops, bit doughy. Not bad, nothing amazing.

On tap at State Line tasting. Pours a reddish brown color with a large foamy tan head. The smell is a little light with some sweet malt aromas and some nuttyness. The taste is creamy with a roasted malt, nuts, and some citrus flavors. The mouthfeel is light and crisp.

Iím currently rating every SN brew Iíve ever had in one clean sweep. I grew up on the classic SN Pale having it around during high school, and since have watched SN grow into a national representation of incredible craft beer. Living 45 mins away is a treat for the random growler fill. Keep up the amazing work and thanks!

There was a slightly sweet malty aroma but not very strong. The color was a clear brown almost amber color with very little foam. The taste was a little sweet but it gave way immediately to a bland bitterness. The body was a little thin as well. I got almost nothing out of this beer.

Tap at GBBF 2012. Deep brown colour. Slightly boozy malt aroma. Taste is very smooth, malty, caramel, toffee, slightly sweet. A bit fuller of body than some of the traditional English brown ales. Well made and enjoyable, if not super exciting.
