bleh. it would have been nice if somewhere on the packaging it would say its an IPA, cause some of us dont like IPAs. this tastes basically like their regular pale ale, just with a tiny bit more malt and roundedness. but overall its the same overly sour flavor of their PA. great if you like it, but not for me.

12 oz bottle true to the Sierra Nevada brand a hoppy tasting beer with lots of flavor. Great quality and the hops are done to perfection just on the edge of over the top. Hint of fruit perhaps grapefruit good long lasting head.

From a 12 oz bottle this great holiday beer pours a nice orange/amber color with a finger white head that lingered. Aroma of citrus, pine and hops - and more hops. Taste of hops, grapefruit, some orange and pine - nice carbonation to balance out the mouthfeel. This was my beer of choice for Thanksgiving 2008 and came in right behind the Pecan Pie as the best choice of the day. Very solid and I look forward to the 2009 edition.

Certainly a rich winter beer. Plenty of malt character with hints of hops. Could be "richer"...maybe add some winter spice.....otherwise there is nothing to distinguish it from other winter/holiday beers

Amber colored body with tiny particles present. Good sized head. Fairly good lacing. Aroma of pine and flowers. Dry texture with a hoppy finish. Not my style.

pours an amber colour with a thick foamy head. Dusty malt aroma with a fruity citrus hop. Flavour was medium bitterness, vienna like toasty maltiness and a light metallic tin presence in the finish.

2008 Vintage Again this year having it fresh, been in the fridge almost two weeks, and again available in Utah. Pours a nice slightly hazy dark golden amber/orange color, nice carbonation, nice one finger creamy off-white head, some nice sticky lacing to follow. The nose is hoppy, slightly malty, and a good dose of caramel. The taste is hoppy, slightly malty, and a good dose of caramel. The finish is slightly dry, and pretty bitter. Medium body. Very drinkable, this brew is slightly hoppier when fresh, but not by much in my book. 2007 Vintage This is probably the first time I had a Celebration Ale within a month or two of coming out/available to me here in Utah. The nose is hoppy, slightly malty, and a good dose of caramel. The taste is hoppy still, slightly malty, and caramel. The finish is slightly dry, and still pretty bitter. Medium body. Very drinkable, this brew is still very tasty after quite a few months, highly recommended. 2003 Vintage Pours a nice slightly cloudy dark golden amber color, nice carbonation, nice one finger creamy off-white head, some nice sticky lacing to follow. The nose is hoppy, slightly malty, and a good dose of caramel. The taste is hoppy still, slightly malty, and caramel. The finish is slightly dry, and still pretty bitter. Medium body.
