2008......really all about the hops....beautiful floral, resinous, piney deliciousness.....it doesn’t get much better than this....however i did drink this alongside an alpha king and the alpha king kicked its ass despite the brilliance of this beer. I give the edge to the celebration because it was 14 bucks for a 12 pack compared to the 11 dollar sixer of the alpha king.

Nice amber color with floral aroma. Good amount of bittering hops but not overloaded. Nice and strong for the wintertime.

Bottle. Pours a nice orange color with a large white head. Aromas of roasted malts, many hops, and more hops. Nice texture with an oily yet creamy feel. Lots of hops aftertaste but not too much that it damages the beer. Probably one of the best holiday beers I have tasted.

Hoppy floral nose with some pine. Medium to dark amber, pours with thin to no head. Tastes on seet pine with a medium sweet somewhat spicey malted finish. Clean buttery finish

Red with tan head. Aroma is citrus, woody earth and fruity sweet malt. Buttery diacetyl at play here. Taste is the same. A fine effort.

Bottle. Pours a light amber-brown with a large, frothy, beige head that lasts. Taste and aroma are of hops, pine, spice, caramel, citrus and some malt. Is a little sweet and has a nice bitter and dry finish to it. Good body and easy to drink. A very good seasonal beer that is moderately priced and a joy to drink. Overall, a great seasonal brew.

12oz bottle. 2008 vintage. Pours a nice golden amber with a 2 finger rocky off white head. Beautiful lacing through the whole beer. Aromas of spicy hop resin, pine, this stuff just reminds me of the holidays. Flavors are at first malty, then a smooth mid and a nice long hoppy butter finish.

bleh. it would have been nice if somewhere on the packaging it would say its an IPA, cause some of us dont like IPAs. this tastes basically like their regular pale ale, just with a tiny bit more malt and roundedness. but overall its the same overly sour flavor of their PA. great if you like it, but not for me.
