Getting notebook online. Bottle, 2006. Tastes are nice orange flavors with some sweet hops. A bit disappointing not having anything special to make a ’’holiday ale’’. Still good!

Fresh bottle. Clear light amber pour with a full nearly white head and nice lacing. Earthy, resiny (but not overwhelming so) hop nose with a good bit of malt behind it. Similar taste with a biscuity malt balancing earthy hops nicely. Don’t really detect any spice in this one, though the finish is peppery.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a thick creamy head with great retention and lacing, over a dark copper body....nose is resin and pine, with floral overtones....taste of malt rapidly balanced out by citrus hops, with lingering grapefruit tones....heavy mouth feel.

On tap at Toronado. This brown/amber ale poured with a thin beige head. There is a nice caramel malt flavor and a great balance of tasty hops. It’s a mouthful of flavor.

Vintage 2008---Poured a dark yellow with a big pillowy head. Had the trademark SN smell of piny/metallic hops. Tasted sweeter than both Pale Ale and this years Anniversary Ale. Didn’t come off that complex, but a highly drinkable IPA it was! (Did that sound like a Yoda sentence)

On draft, pours a dark amber/ruby with a decent head and a certain cloudiness. Aroma is hops and malt. Taste is sweet caramelly malt and dry hopped bitterness. Warms the tummy a bit. Quite good, but a bit hoppier than I prefer.

Pours out dense copper, almost opaque with a cream colored head. Rich herby and woody aroma, traces of cinnamon and vanilla. Very full mouthfeel without being dense or heavy. Starts out very spicy with a grassy hop bitterness, alcohol is very warming, especially for low ABV. Tastes almost like an IPA in that hops dominate the flavor, with a little holiday spice added in. Finishes very peppery. Not much malt or sweetness. Drinks very easy despite lack of balance.

Bottle. Poured a nice hazy yellow color with a good head. Smells like an IPA with hops and sweetness. Tastes very smooth and a good bitter aftertaste.
