Spicy hop flavor, sweet and thick, with a long dry finish. Interesting contrast to some of the malty winter selections I’ve been enjoying. Finn (1494), Tromsø, Norway

This is a nicely balanced IPA with the usual citrus tones. It was not overly bitter with a grapefruit and caramel flavor. I couldn’t make anything out unique aroma wise. Great taste and easily drinkable. BEERGUY007 (206), Scotia, New York, USA

Smells of hops and tastes like grapefruit juice. It was alright, not my fav though. Reminds me of Stone Ruination in flavor. ChrisJ (100), Warrenton, Virginia, USA

I am frequently underwhelmed by Sierra Nevada’s offerings so I went into this tasting with a healthy amount of skepticism. Poured in amber with a small light beige head. The aroma was sweet, citrusy and fruity. The flavor was surprisingly well balanced. Some sweetness from the crystal malts was well complimented by the hoppy citrus bitterness which have made this beer so popular. I also dteced some caramel as well as some spice. The finish was slightly bitter with a light to medium mouth feel. Very nice! mybestfriend (262), Gothenburg, Sweden

I did not get all that much on the nose - some malty dried apricots. The flavour profile begins with some sweet malts, but this beer is all about the hops and bitterness. The grapefruit peely bitterness gets bigger and bigger for every sip you take. The finish is a bit salty with some roasted notes and bitterness.
