browned amber color with a medium creamy head. spicy malt aroma with orange hop and maple notes. medium light, clean body. rich maple malt flavor with a good spicy floral hop flavor, with a bitter orange and apricot flavor. well rounded, rich, but goes down smooth

33 cl bottle, Fargo. Hazy amber colour, intense hop aroma. Spicy hop flavor, sweet and thick, with a long dry finish. Interesting contrast to some of the malty winter selections I’ve been enjoying.

Bottle 0,35l bought at Tesco Kensington Feb 08. Golden brown colored. A large tanned creamy head. Rich sweet fruity aroma. Peaches and apricot dominating. Flavor of sweet fruit. Heavy bitterness kicking in. A decent winter warmer. Nice label as well. KI=6

12oz draught with small head and nice lacing. This is a nicely balanced IPA with the usual citrus tones. It was not overly bitter with a grapefruit and caramel flavor. I couldn’t make anything out unique aroma wise. Great taste and easily drinkable.

Got a growler of this at Glenville beverage. Pours a translucent brown, a little head. Smells of hops and tastes like grapefruit juice. It was alright, not my fav though. Reminds me of Stone Ruination in flavor.

Bottle. I am frequently underwhelmed by Sierra Nevada’s offerings so I went into this tasting with a healthy amount of skepticism. Poured in amber with a small light beige head. The aroma was sweet, citrusy and fruity. The flavor was surprisingly well balanced. Some sweetness from the crystal malts was well complimented by the hoppy citrus bitterness which have made this beer so popular. I also dteced some caramel as well as some spice. The finish was slightly bitter with a light to medium mouth feel. Very nice!

Bottle. Amber pour with an off-white head. I did not get all that much on the nose - some malty dried apricots. The flavour profile begins with some sweet malts, but this beer is all about the hops and bitterness. The grapefruit peely bitterness gets bigger and bigger for every sip you take. The finish is a bit salty with some roasted notes and bitterness.
