topherh (878), Kearney, Missouri, USA Jan 21, 2008 12 oz bottle pours copper with an off white head. Aroma is of hops. Flavor is of citrus hops and some sweet caramel malts. One of my favorite IPAs. I wish it was available year round. tunneler (112), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA Jan 21, 2008 2007 version. nicely hopped, solid and good. A little on the biter side, could use more body i suppose. Guinness4Duff (507), Tallahassee (and Poconos, PA), Florida, USA Jan 21, 2008 This is a very good IPA that is consistent from year to year. I’ve picked up a six pack around every Christmas for the last five years and have never been dissapointed. gator2683 (133), Anchorage, Alaska, USA Jan 20, 2008 I generally dont like IPAs, but this one was ok. Very hoppy, but no ’soapy’ taste like some. This would refer to the 2007 variety jehoey (766), Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 20, 2008 draft at Boxers cafe Huntingdon: aroma was characteristic of SN with loads of citrus especially grapefruit and some earthiness. Came of the tap an amber color with 2 fingers of thick head that stayed a float throughout drinking the beer. Flavor was grapefruit, but not quite clean, some dicetyl (sp?) on the aftertaste. clean medium palate. could have been much better. BelgianBeerGal (1276), Sabbatical in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Jan 19, 2008 2007 bottle. Ruby/copper colour with a thin white film on top; good lacing. Aroma is evergreen pine and hop. Flavour is more pink grapefruit, hops and a nice clean finish. No harsh bitterness at all. SavageElvis (134), Savage, Minnesota, USA Jan 19, 2008 2007 version on tap was a very good well hopped IPA. Good head and lacing. Dark copper color and a nice fruity aroma and a well balanced body. Not too mild and not too bitter. Top notch. GuinnessGal (59), Virginia, USA Jan 19, 2008 This is my favorite seasonal beer! It has a wonderful taste. Just be careful how many you have, it may sneak up on you!
