Nice looking copper color with a nice chunky head. Citrus aroma, a little pine in there as well, a little spice also. I’m not getting much from the flavor besides the bitterness, but it looks and smells good.

Amber;/orange pour with foamy off-white lasting head. Sticky lace. Aromas of spice, hops, sweet malt. Bitter throughout, but well balanced. Nice carbonation, medium mouthfeel. A dry bitter finish. Nice.

good stylistic ipa. Always enjoy the celebration, it’s an ipa with a winter flair. Nice hop aroma from the start, with some floral hops from taste.

Copper color, lively white head, floral hop aroma, full hop flavor, and bitter hoppy finish, yumm. Nice straightahead IPA style.

2007 Bottle. Pours a nice amber color with a frothy off-white head. Smells of citrusy hops, and tastes like it too. The bitterness is strong, but not unpleasant. In the mouth, the ale has a medium body with a long slightly bitter finish.

2007 vintage. This ale pours a gloriously deep, hazy orange colour with a thick and stable off-white head that leaves a pleasant lacing around the glass. The aromas are malty sweet and fruity at first, but later it develops a spicy, burnt hop quality. The flavours are dominated almost entirely by the hops. There are notes of burnt caramel to be found, but primarily - but not overly - a spicy hoppiness fills the mouth. This rather thick ale lingers on the palate for some time leaving the drinker with a long-lasting spicy bitterness.

Deep orange amber, quite hazy, big orange-tinted head. aromas of grapefruit, resin, and toffee. Palate structure is a nice sweet malty backbone with loads of cascade character (grapefruit, resin). Dry finish with big bitterness. I like the malt structure better here than in the Mendocino White I had earlier in the evening.
