Inviting aroma of grapefruit, pine and a hint of nuttiness. Bracingly bitter up front, with juicy body and a dry bitter finish. Very much hop accented, not very different from their Pale Ale. They know their hops and they use them well.

Bottle @ home from Saveur-biere.com - Color: clear amber beer with small carbonation and small heavy white foam. Really nice. Smell: grassy and hoppy domination small woody and forest nose. Taste: high hoppy taste with good caramel notes and malty well balanced. Aftertaste: nice wet bitterness. Really nice beer. I recommend it.

"i think this beer is quite a bit better than their regular ipa or flagship pale ale. it’s got a better aroma, and a nicer all around, hoppy flavor. their second best beer."

Little foam top. Fresh first mouthful. Heavy bitter finish. Looks like a Christmas beer but doesn’t taste like one.

Cloudy amber color, average sized off white head. Lots of sediment. Medium to full body, average carbonation. Nice thick body, it feels like it’s 10%, not 7%. Aroma of pine, tropical fruits, citrus. Medium sweet, medium bitter taste. Nice and long bitter finish. Very nice IPA.

12 oz bottle courtesy of Dan, served in a stem glass. Pours clear orange-amber with a small off-white head that fades to a thin remnant and leaves a small amount of fine lace. The nose has big piney hops, along with caramel, biscuit malts, and subtle citrus. The flavour is moderately bitter throughout, with resinous, piney hops balanced with loads of caramel and biscuity malts. The flavour is long and moderately bitter with a piney-spicy quality. On the palate it is medium in body with a smooth, milky texture and average carbonation. Overall, a very nice robust IPA that stands up to winter nicely. 2014-09-30

Butelka 33cl. OCZY : piwo ma kolor bursztynowej pomarańczy. Piana jest średniej wielkości o kolorze kości słoniowej. NOS : bardzo przyjemny zapach zdominowany piernym słodem o nutach tarty, piklowanym imbirem. delikatnie gotowanymi wiśniami. Do tego pomarańcza i cynamon, dojrzale mango i ananas, grejpfrut. USTA : piwo jest symbolicznie nasycone i puszyste o tłustej teksturze. Świetnie (czytaj nudno) wyważone pomiędzy gorzkimi nutami chmielów amerykańskich a słodkimi nutami słodu z lekką dominacją słodkiej tarty.
