Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale represents a time honored tradition of brewing a special beer for the holiday season. There are generous portions of barley malts and fine whole hops of several varieties, creating a brew with a full, rich and hearty character.

Growler station Joe Canals West Deptford. First beer tasted and only beer tasted because I was sold on it right away. Pours a beautiful crisp and clear golden hue with a lacing head. Nice aroma of hops. Taste is very nice not as dry as I usually like, but the wetness of this beer gives its uniuqe good flavor. Very good IPA, must have for any real beer lover.

Celebration Fresh Hop Ale. So muss ein Fresh Hop sein, ausgeprägte Hopfennote, frisch. Sehr gut.

350ml bottle, vintage 2013, from a forgotten place in my cellar. Thanks to djoeye. Rocky off-white head blanketing the glass. Close to clear amber coloured body. Mid-sweet grapefruit, wood, and brown malts on the nose. Mild spiced dried fruits, citrus peels, caramel and bread are present to the taste buds. Smooth leafy hop bitterness to the finish. Pleasing and with fine drinkability (Tromsø 29.01.2015).

Bottle labelled "2014" from a Wild Plum shop in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Pours orange-amber with a nice persisting, off-white head that leaves a lot of lacing. Lots of hops here, with citrus, grapefruit, pine on strong malt base that balances the heavy bitterness. The taste is heavy bitter with a smooth, full body, not unlike an IIPA.

Draft - Fresh Woody and leafy notes. Clear gold with a rich white head. Woody, vegative and bitter with some pale malts. This tastes a bit old and stale, will try again.

Let’s dispense with the pretenses and admit that despite its size, Sierra Nevada puts out a great product . Celebration is no exception. 2-3 of these will have you flying high. The taste for me isn’t quite as good as the Torpedo double IPA. It’s a little spicier, but it’s nice to have a season alternative to Torpedo.

355ml bottle from cornelius. Pours hazy amber, big white head. Light sherbet on the aroma, light floral hops, caramel. Taste is sweet, thin. Kinda missing something in the middle.
