Had this beer for the first time on draft at Bullfrog’s in Ridgeville. Aroma could’ve been a little more apparent to me but did give off some grapefruit and malty notes. the color of the beer is great with a nice reddish amber and sparkling, . Head is light and does not stick around throughout. Taste is slightly hoppy with some citrus and sweet maltiness. Hop bitterness is there for balance. Light bodied some stickyness. Carbonation was right on where i was drinking. and the finish was short but good overall. Always been a pretty consistent beer year in and year out.

Bottle shared at Black Swan, post CBC - fuzzy amber coloured pour with white head. Tropical and citrus fruity, hoppy and malty, some caramel, toffee, orange, pine, grapefruit, bitter finish. Decent.

On tap @GarricksHeadPub. Lots going on here, but it rounds out into a smooth, very palatable brew. Lighter and easier than I expected -- good balance of multiple hop strains that don’t overwhelm a solid malt base.

Bottle 2014 edition. Not as pungent as a torpedo but pretty fruity. Some distinctive Sierra Nevada tones filter through. A good drop.

Ett år gammal flaska. Mörkt bärnstensfärgad öl med inslag av rött. Ljusbeige skum.

Bottle.(2014 vintage) Pours a nice dark amber. Taste. Very bitter and very grapefruit forward, also with a slight pine and sweet caramel backing. Overall. Very bitter and not for the feint hearted, whilst i think this is a very redeeming quality, this would get another couple of rating points if they kept or maybe even toned down the bitterness, to let the non bitter flavours of the hops present themselves better.
