Ungstrup (11378), Frederiksberg, Denmark Dec 16, 2004 [Vintage 2001 - sampled 2004] A hazy deep red beer with a small light brown disappearing head. The aroma is sweet with notes of fruit and alcohol. The flavor is fruity with notes of strawberries, without much sweetness, but a good hoppyness, that gives it a very dry end. omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden Jan 11, 2002 Hoppy, bitter nose. Hoppy, bitter aroma.
Hoppy, bitter flavour.
Finishes hoppy and bitter. Lovely.
Papsoe (10475), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 4, 2006 (Bottle 35,5 cl) Pours a clear, dark amber with a small, off-white head. Fat, hoppy aroma. Rather full-bodied, lightly burned caramel flavour with an underlying sweetness. Very dominated by the hop blend without being overly bitter - somewhat muddy hop character. 020706 Oakes (6979), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Dec 2, 2001 Updated: Jul 20, 2007Copper, hugely hoppy nose - rich, earthy piney, resiny aromas; very bitter. Classic IPA. Torpedo Ale (#2) on draft at the Taphouse, Seattle. Golden-bronze colour. Fairly light cascadey old school aroma. Good body. Spicy, minty, woody flavours. Lots of minerals, earthy malts. Great balance and easy drinking, too. Aroma score is a 6, all other scores the same. joergen (6529), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 15, 2005 Orange colour with a small beige head.
Aroma of malt, hops and fruit.
Malty flavour with notes of fruit, that ends up with a nice and lasting bitter finish.
Nice IPA.
