draft @ redlight redlight for Christmas in July, so the keg is about 6 months old. Smooth citrus hops with sweet bread-like malts, traces of sweet pine as well. Pours golden amber with a thick white head. Smooth malts with still quite a bit of hop character, i can tell the hops of mellowed somewhat but its still got great hop flavor, smooth pine flavors, with traves of caramel, with quite a lot of citrus hops as well. Its held up very nice. Very nice to drink.

Bottle 0,35l bought at Tesco Kensington Feb 08. Golden brown colored. A large tanned creamy head. Rich sweet fruity aroma. Peaches and apricot dominating. Flavor of sweet fruit. Heavy bitterness kicking in. A decent winter warmer. Nice label as well. KI=6

Poured copper color with decent head. Aroma is of a citrusy hoppiness and malt in the background. Flavor is hoppier than the regular pale ale but is well balanced. The finish is hoppy, but clean and not overwhelming. Mouthfeel is appropriate.

This is an awesome IPA. Pours a beautiful dark amber/red with tiny floating particles a thick white head. Aroma is grapefruit, cascade hops and pine. Strong cascade/centennial hop flavor with a great spicy, pine, pepper, grapefruit/citrusy taste. Also has some toasted malt and caramel. Goes down smooth with a great balanced overall taste. Has the perfect amount of malt to go with the hops. Very bitter aftertaste. Mouthfeel was very full, round and creamy with moderate carbonation. Great lacing and head retention.

Amber with a low, long-lasting head. Strong hop aroma; fruity with citrus. Amazing hop flavor, with a low key maltiness showing up stably in the background. A touch of sweetness is there under the bitterness. There is a bit of berry-like fruitiness. Doesn’t really taste very strong. Has an extremely bitter finish that lasts a long time. Just a touch of malt under there. An excellent beer.

2007 vintage 12 oz bottle. Pours a clear reddish body with an average size frothy off white head that leaves some nice lacing and a giant pool of creamy head i the middle of the glass. Medium palate that finishes slightly dry yet has a subtle smoothness about it. Flavor of slight grapefruit, caramel and slight notes of pine. Classic Sierra Nevada and a largely drinkable brew.

This is a great looking beer being medium brown in color with a nice soapy head that is light tan. The aroma is a nice mix of sweet malt and tart hops. First taste is robust hops with a lot of character. Like the aroma the hops are tart but malt evens out the tartness. The hops bring a mild bitterness that lingers in the middle of the tongue causing some unusual stimulation. There is quite a lot of pine and an occasional hint of caramel in the flavor. I don’t really care for beers with lots of hops and this one has plenty. However, the malts add some sweetness that makes it more to my liking and also gives character to this beer.
