4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
A hazy copper color with particles in suspension. A big fluffy ecru head with fantastic retention that sustained a pillowy film throughout the entire time I was drinking and had great lacing. Citrus and toffee aroma with a hint of pine. Taste is citrus and pine flavors in balance with a nice sweet toffee in the background. Some earthy flavors also with a smooth but big bitterness. Finishes semi dry. Mouthfeel is chalky and crisp with a medium full body and medium carbonation. Outstanding IPA with dominate but not overbearing hop flavor and enough malt sweetness to round it out very nicely. Could compete with the top IPAs out there.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Wonderful fresh hops give this IPA nice citrusy nose. The taste isnít overly bitter or abrasive, but it rather sweet and refreshing.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Medium amber, exuberant but not lasting head.
Full body, rich, smooth mouthfeel, lightened by the abundant carbonation.
Bitterness dominates but malty background gives it enough counterbalance.
Very hoppy, resiny but also richly malty.
A very enjoyable and characterful IPA.

Pours a nice copper amber in the glass. with a rocky head. Kind of a clean citrus pine industrial aroma. Nice and not offensive. Solid toasted malt flavor with a bitter citrus aftertaste. Overall, Iím shocked that I overlooked this brew for so long. Iíll be drinking more of this. A good beer!

Reddish pour. Grapefruit aroma, some sweet malts too. Resin hop flavor, kinda sticky. Nice and bright holiday brew. Iím a fan.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Aroma of malt and some spice even. Light spice and may be the malt and hops together. Pleasant but nothing dominates. Flavors of malt, maybe some spice and a bitter, dry finish. Almost some cherry in the aroma and taste a bit. Overall on the bitter side, even though there is quite a bit of malt. Almost between a malty piney resinous ipa and a winter spiced beer. Decent but a bit too bitter for me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Ruby red. Frothy big head. Malty with nice hop flavors. Like a modern amber ipa. Reminds me a liitle like troegs hop back amber.nice sweet finish which puts the seasonal touch on the beer.

3.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Iím typically skeptical of holiday offerings, but this guy was dandy. Clear amber pour with massive off white head. Aroma was underwhelming--muffled spiced grapefruit and pine--but taste really made up for it. Nicely balanced citrus and pine copse with fresh, dank hop resin undertones. Sticky and smooth. Nice brew.

Draft. Nose like pine and citrus. Smells like hangover. Flavor full of malt and sweetness. Decent but would be better with a drier finish.

Bottled pours a medium amber with white medium head that lingers. Taste is smooth hops front to back. Pairs well with pizza.
