Great seasonal IPA! Color is a light brownish amber, slight head and good lacing. Not too much hop in the nose, but taste has a nice kick of hop bitterness that you expect. Medium to light body. Aftertaste is smooth and lingers just right.

12 Fl oz bottle into shaker. Orange/copper beer with solid two finger head. Carbonation is constant and fine. Nose is subdued fruit toffees. Flat clean mouthfeel with aspirin bitter finish. Quite light and easy to drink, surprising given its ABV. Nice albeit one-dimensional. Of course it’s meant to be a Winter beer but here in Sydney it is 25 Celcius at 11pm so I’m drinking it straight out of the fridge. Probably better a little warmer.

A: Amber coloured, huge off white head N: Floral, caramel, lots of hops, hint of liqourice T: Decent bitterness, quite deep wooden flavour. O: Lots more malty than expected. Still a good beer though.

Poured from 12 oz bottle into tulip glass Appearance: pours a 3" pillowy off white head that falls very slowly and leaves abundant lacing behind. Color is cloudy reddish-amber. Aroma: strong pine and citrus dominate but there is an evident malt in the background. Mouthfeel: medium bodied, viscous and quite sticky with a quite dry finish. Flavor: fine balance between the hop notes with a bready-sweet malt. Overall: extremely well done. I am a rare IPA drinker but this one is definitely worth having.

Bottle into IPA glass. Pours a clear copper colour with off white head. Aroma is earthy and grassy. Taste is grassy hops with a nice maltiness to go with a pleasing bitterness. Good beer.

Poured from a bottle. Ruby mahagony Brown hue with medium vanilla head. Spicy malt flavor with citrus, pepper, and slight juniper. Like the subtle bitterness balanced with the malt. Still has a nice dry finish.

Sierra Nevada Hop Celebration 2015 This fresh hop winter IPA pours a deeper russet gold that kind of makes me think of Aki no Kimagure. It’s got a great fragrant hop bouquet juicy fruits(mangoes & guava) with minty lemon as well. Nice full body and very bitter hitting you with a pine whallop, then a hearty dose of fruits and finishing with a nod towards the malts. Even though it’s bitter it remains balanced good stuff. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at Saddle & Sabre. Light copper color with white head. Leaves a lot of lacing. Slightly piney aroma and taste with caramel, grapefruit and floral notes. Well balanced, warming and quite pleasant.
