3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: NOV 12, 2015 Update 11/12/15 - Partial credit for at least bringing back the bitter edge, but this still lacks its previous depth of hop flavor and aroma. The caramel malts also, unfortunately, have a bigger presence.
Update 10/27/14 - Sierra Nevada has ruined this beer! As a longtime fan and fiend I feel confident saying this tastes nothing at all like it used to and did as recently as 2012. There is NO aroma and very little hop flavor aside from some minor mt hood/chinook and sublte cascade contributions. I am so disappointed I might just cry in my glass. Same failings as this yearís Northern Hemisphere Wet Hop Ale, possibly used the same hop crop. Skip it, write to them and complain and hope they bring this back to itís previous glory!
2012 and earlier releases - One of a short list of longtime favorites. Freshly bottled Celebration packs a big hoppy aroma, flavor, and an abundance of bitterness. As it ages, this beer takes on varied and enjoyable flavor nuances as the bitterness mellows. I tend to buy this whenever itís available.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Poured from 12 oz bottle into tulip glass
Appearance: pours a 3" pillowy off white head that falls very slowly and leaves abundant lacing behind. Color is cloudy reddish-amber.
Aroma: strong pine and citrus dominate but there is an evident malt in the background.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied, viscous and quite sticky with a quite dry finish.
Flavor: fine balance between the hop notes with a bready-sweet malt.
Overall: extremely well done. I am a rare IPA drinker but this one is definitely worth having.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Poured from a bottle. Ruby mahagony Brown hue with medium vanilla head. Spicy malt flavor with citrus, pepper, and slight juniper. Like the subtle bitterness balanced with the malt. Still has a nice dry finish.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sierra Nevada Hop Celebration 2015
This fresh hop winter IPA pours a deeper russet gold that kind of makes me think of Aki no Kimagure.
Itís got a great fragrant hop bouquet juicy fruits(mangoes & guava) with minty lemon as well.
Nice full body and very bitter hitting you with a pine whallop, then a hearty dose of fruits and finishing with a nod towards the malts. Even though itís bitter it remains balanced good stuff.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 ounce bottle. Strong hop aroma that changes as it warms. Starts out hoppy with citrus and pine, gets more earthy as it goes. Sweet flavor at first with a bitter finish that lingers.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
A 12 fl oz bottle with a packaged date of 19th October 2015. Poured into a Spiegelau IPA glass. It poured a clear dark copper colour with a two finger cream coloured head that had great retention and left lots of nice lacing. Aromas are citrusy lemon, apple, piney hops and sweet but slight biscuit malts. There was also some herbal and spice here and there. Tastes of light citrus and hop bitterness before it kicks in with some strong maltiness and surprising booze but nice spice. Creamy, medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall, this was definitely more malty and boozy than I expected (and not in a good way). However, I will retry this again to make sure, but at the moment, I definitely prefer Hop Hunter and Torpedo IPA over this.
