4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
So I like Sierra Nevada. A high quality brewery with a number of good offerings. But I always approach seasonals with a degree of skepticism. They tend to be seasonal because you wouldn’t want to drink this beer all year round. Not with this tasty brew.
Very aromatic with citrus and some bread notes. Some maltiness comes through too.
A very beautiful beer with a tremendous white head and medium amber color. Initially sweet but the hops kick in right away with a beautiful medium bitterness that lingers for a long time. Very smooth in your mouth. Creamy for an ale this hoppy. Very drinkable. After trying a bottle that my brother gave me, I bought a 12-pack. I look forward to one almost every day now. It doesn’t grow old. Excellent

På flaska från systemet. Bärnstensfärgad med en liten skumkrona. Doftar blommigt sött. Härlig blommig smak med ett sött inslag av honung som avrundas med en perfekt beska.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Pours amber with a fluffy off-white head and tons of lacing. The aroma is mainly pine. The taste adds some caramel notes and sweet citrus on the back end. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and smooth with a syrupy undertone. -- This particular bottle is leftover from a few months ago from the 2013. It’s still great but, not as fresh as the others I’ve had. I didn’t rate it until now but I’ve had a bunch of fresh ones. Classic SN brew. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Head could maybe be some bigger, but holds good. Good sticky to the glass. Earthy and grassy hops, caramel. Good bitterness. Not bad to find on a holiday where you expect no beers will be good enough to drink more as once. Even better i found it at the first regular supermarket we entered.

355 cl systembolaget. En helt okej öl men jag hade förväntat mig mera. Kanske en av de sämre dryckerna från Sierra nevada.

Reviewed from notes. Consumed during the holiday, sorry for the late upload to Ratebeerians.
The appearance was an orange-amber colored body leaving a big two and half finger foamy lumpy white head appears and lasts for at least a good minute before gently dieing into the body.
The smell had the hops up front with gentle soothing layers of pine, citrus and malts.
The taste takes the previously mentioned smells and makes a great bittersweet combination.
On the palate, she sat at a medium with the normal AIPA harshness on the tongue and mouth. It has a nice crispness. I would say this is fairly sessionable.
Overall, this is a wonderful holiday AIPA that I always get every Christmas season.
