kkearn (686), philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 5, 2008 Draft, at Blind Tiger (NYC) 8/30/08. Pours pale orange amber, capped with a small white head. Aroma of wheat, citrus, mild yeast, and crisp hops. Flavor is primarily wheat, with lemon and floral hops. Hops linger on the palate. Refreshing. LilBeerDoctor (626), East Setauket, New York, USA Sep 3, 2008 On tap at BT. Pours a clear orange with a small white head. Aroma is weak, just some light sweet malt. Flavor of sweet malt, some light fruits, wheaty finish with bittering hops. Had a champagne-like spritziness. Not bad-- it was pretty tasty and drinkable. fredandboboflo (619), East Setauket, New York, USA Sep 3, 2008 Tap at Blind Tiger. Aroma of wheat and graininess with some floral hops. Flavor of astringent grains with a hint of sweetness. On the weak side. Blargh. rkuhnel (1135), Eureka, California, USA Aug 23, 2008 I am glad that Sierra Nevada brought this to Hops in Humboldt in Fortuna, CA because I had never seen it before. Came a cloudy light yellow, with fizzy white head and light lacing. Nose of citrus hops some fruit like banana. Light but smooth mouthfeel. Flavor is dominated by the citrus hops, and it finishes dry . I had two glasses and the second was good as the first. Saarlander (1459), The Saarland, Germany Feb 12, 2008 Very light pour, well carbonated, very citrusy, Quite watery for a wheat, but not terrible, would be great on a hot day.
