Hazy dark amber with a small, tight, off white head. Aroma of sweet malt with a whiff of grassy hops. Flavor is malty with floral hops up front and a bitter, piney finish. Palate is on the low end of medium with a fizzy tingle of carbonation. Good stuff.

Rich, malty beer, full of grainy flavour. Ending up in a dry, well hopped finish. Very nice.

Oct 23, 2008 Copper colour and clear. Has a white head, mostly lasting. Aroma is mainly sweet, hoppy notes. Flavor starts lightly sweet and finish moderate bitter. Dry texture.

Oct 15, 2008 Bottle at EBF. Hazy golden, small fizzy head. Cookie like, honeyish nose, little sulphur and hops. Clean malty flavor, fruity hops, yeast. Quite boring, sterile bitter. Medium bodied, fizzy carbonation.

Oct 13, 2008 Another solid beer from Sierra Nevada. Good for its class. Hops stand out but don’t steal the show. Nice tiny bubble head that leaves a distinct lace.

Oct 6, 2008 Updated: Oct 22, 2008Crushed with Jakebra. Little chlorine on the nose with the hops, but not as hoppy as I expected. Flavor leaves a lot to be desired with a hardly-anything-there finish. A little hop bitterness, but compared to Rogue Brutal Bitter, this is nothing.
