DeadGuyFrank (319), http://westchesterbeer.com, USA Mar 30, 2008 A highly forgettable brew from the folks at Sieera Nevada. Not much bitterness, not much overall flavor....hard to taste the English inspiration, as the commercial description states.
alexsdad06 (605), Ohio, USA Aug 4, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Pours a deep amber with a medium sized off white head. The aroma is moderately sweet malt, grains and cookie dough. Notes of citrus and flowers can also be detected. The flavor is more cookie dough, grass, citrus, and moderately sweet malt. Clean and easy drinking on a hot day. Medium bodied. smjohnst (106), , Pennsylvania, USA Aug 2, 2008 This beer is really unique for a spring ale. It has an irish red hint to it with a bitter after taste. I got a six-pack and I’m glad that I didn;t have just one. The second time I tried it I really liked it. phishpond417 (1231), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Jul 21, 2008 Another nice one from Sierra Nevada: Pours a clear bright copper colour with a beige head. Aroma is funny- semi sweet-semi floral- not sure what it is, but its unique. Taste however is nothing special, but still enjoyable, Soft citrus fruit, with wheat flavor. rader58 (23), Leawood, Kansas, USA Jul 19, 2008 Pours to a red copper. Spicy hops aroma. A bitter hops initial flavor with a sweet finish. Very balanced. The sweet is not too overbearing. checkmatei1 (234), Willow Grove, USA Jul 16, 2008 Draft: Poured an orange color with not much head. The aroma was of pine citrus and hops. The flavor was a little bit extra, a little bit special and a little bit bitter. Overall, a decent beer that reminds me more of a double IPA and ESB, but good.
