skibumphishead (175), USA May 1, 2008 6 pack of 12oz bottles from the "big E" in Easthampton... The Big E has a decent selection of beer and I can see it is across the street from my apartment. This beer tastes like a british-style bitter with a hint of west coast hops. The flavs are nuts, honey, and grassy hops. I like it.
milljam (166), Norman, Oklahoma, USA Nov 28, 2008 Not really anywhere near an actual English ESB. Overall, nothing really stood out. jimmack34 (158), Ohio, USA Nov 21, 2008 Bottle. Pours a rich copper color with slight off white head. Smells hoppy and sweet. Tastes like bread grains, sweet malts, bittersweet hops, a little sugary. Very good. KnutAlbert (2462), Oslo, Norway Oct 28, 2008 Bottle from Oddbins, London.
Rich, malty beer, full of grainy flavour. Ending up in a dry, well hopped finish. Very nice. Hansen (1828), Randers, Denmark Oct 23, 2008 Copper colour and clear. Has a white head, mostly lasting. Aroma is mainly sweet, hoppy notes. Flavor starts lightly sweet and finish moderate bitter. Dry texture. austone (579), Turku; Pori, Finland Oct 15, 2008 Bottle at EBF. Hazy golden, small fizzy head. Cookie like, honeyish nose, little sulphur and hops. Clean malty flavor, fruity hops, yeast. Quite boring, sterile bitter. Medium bodied, fizzy carbonation.
