Like this alright. Had this come out years ago, most of the head scratching it seems to be causing "this is an ESB? etc.) would mostly have dissipated. Or not. I’m most of the way through a 12pk and have enjoyed it. Not immensely as I most often do Bigfoot nor is it the American Pale Ale standard like SNPA, but it’s got some hops and plays well on the tongue. Does come off as a beer that with a lean one direction or another would be far more pleasing.

Nov 21, 2008 Bottle. Pours a rich copper color with slight off white head. Smells hoppy and sweet. Tastes like bread grains, sweet malts, bittersweet hops, a little sugary. Very good.

Rich, malty beer, full of grainy flavour. Ending up in a dry, well hopped finish. Very nice.

Oct 23, 2008 Copper colour and clear. Has a white head, mostly lasting. Aroma is mainly sweet, hoppy notes. Flavor starts lightly sweet and finish moderate bitter. Dry texture.

Oct 15, 2008 Bottle at EBF. Hazy golden, small fizzy head. Cookie like, honeyish nose, little sulphur and hops. Clean malty flavor, fruity hops, yeast. Quite boring, sterile bitter. Medium bodied, fizzy carbonation.
