Draft. Crystal clear apple juice body, medium off-white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, catty/grapefruit, light bread. Taste is moderately sweet, catty, some grapefruit, light bread. Medium-full body, some resin, light acidity, nice hop burp. Nothing amazing about this, just a straightforward scrumptious IIPA.

Served on draft at Capital Ale House Downtown. Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized frothy white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of herbal hops with a bit of citrus and toasted malts. The taste is bitter citrus, resin hops, caramel malts and some bread. Full bodied with a lingering bitterness. Solid DIPA.

UPDATED: SEP 26, 2014 "depending on one’s mood, this is as good, or even better than Hoptimum, which is a great iipa. Dont worry - i had em side by side to be sure, liver be damned! This one has my favorite hop, CITRA, among the 4 varieties. Side by side this beer looks almost lager yellow, but beats Hoptimum in overall aroma (pungent floral and citrus hops) and flavor (a little sweet, more hoppy than Hoptimum w/o being as bitter, and at 8.4, doesn’t show as much alcohol. Hoptimum is a bit more complex with it’s malt profile, so I’ll call it a wash."

Tap at CK. Brilliant gold pour with a small layer of foam. Crystal clear. Dank, oily, resinous hop nose. No specific hop varietal comes to mind. Taste is juicy, oily, small sugar and sweet jackfruit plus cantaloupe and pineapple. Rich, sticky. No cheese, no strawberry, no red fruitiness, no stale character. Thank the lord.

Draft to taster. Looks fine; smells bitter. It’s an unbalanced hop bomb with an average mouthful. Not a big fan of this.

On draft at the Livermore Saloon. It pours bright yellow with a white head. The aroma is very peppery with lots of citrus and grass. The flavor is dry with some bitter citrus peel, grass and some light biscuity honey malt. Light bodied and easy to drink. Nice.

Draft. Clear golden color, white head. Citrusy hops, caramel malt, sweetness, and a balancing bitterness. Good but not very memorable.

On tap at Churchkey. Very dry; heavy floral. Light citrus and pine in the background. Nose is similar with just a touch of backend sweetness. Bit too bitter.
