COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Flipside Red IPA is a rebuttal to the mild-mannered beers of summer. Tropical fruit and citrus hop flavors from the use of whole-cone Citra, Simcoe and Centennial hops are the perfect notes for this in-between season.

Pours a rich amber/red with a lasting, slightly off white head. Aroma is grapefruit backed by caramel, toffee and a bit of pine. Initial taste is bittet with tons of pine, as the beer goes down the sligtly sweet, roasted malt comes through. Fairly fruity, with notes of coffe and pine. Ample body with good carbonation. A rich, easy drinking IPA that is sessionable with it’s low (for an IPA) alcohol content.

Amber pour, thick head. Aroma is caramel, toasted malt. Light citrusy hop. Flavour is caramel/toffee, citrus, burnt sugar. Not 100% on board for this one. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

MacBoost (1328) - Pouring Bus, New York, USA - SEP 19, 2013
Pours a pretty deep amber, almost brown with a large slightly off white head. Aromas of spice, with some floral hops. Taste is kind of dull and lacking, with soapy hop oils and generic cereal malts. Dashes of allspice and nutmeg. Finishes pretty bland and watery with no real presence. No.

Pours a deep reddish amber with a creamy off white head. Aroma of fresh citrusy and floral hops. Some light nutty and caramel malt notes but aroma is mostly a pleasant hop nose. Flavor of grapefruit, pine, considerable hop bitterness with a nice toasty/nutty malt profile.

Pours a deep red amber. Aroma of cherry malts and peppery hops. Taste is a nice blend of a red and a IPA. Sort of like an Irish red with an IPA finish. Nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(16oz glass) Sampled at the Moon Under Water brewpub in Victoria. Pours a lasting, yellow creamy head atop a clear brown body. Nose of toffee and bitter hops. Solid hop flavour and decent earthy smoked malt base. Good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
