4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
From 12oz bottle to tulip glass. Pour is a deep ruby, thick khaki head. Nose is heavy hop, citrus, pine. Taste is medium bodied, mostly dominated by bitter but sweetness from the citrus coming through. Malty finish, heavy texture that’s great not the palate. Great red IPA, heavy and complex.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Massive frothy head was somewhat of a surprise, and rusty amber colored body was exactly what I was hoping for when I bought it. Strong aromas of pine cone, rye bread and subtle citrus. Malty with sweet caramel mingling with its citrusy undertones of grapefruit and orange peel, with the slighest hint of cocoa creeping in before it gives way to a fresh, piney hops. A nice red IPA for the autumn.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 ounce bottle - $1.99 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours a tawny, rust-toned body with a smallish, near white head. Light haze. Little lacing.
Smell: Predominately hoppy, notes of grapefruit, additional oily citrus and even a sliver of mango. Rather grassy with pine-hinting resins. Underneath, a little basic toast and grain.
Taste: Toasted breadcrusts, touches of grain and a low, brief caramel-esque sweetness. Very, very faint unsweetened chocolate powder. Sharp, citric grapefruit and orangy kicks with a leisurely bitterness. Moderately resinous, grassy. Pulls up on the grassy, resiny tones at the tail end and into the bitter, drying finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Overall: It’s red, it’s bitter. I was fine with it.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bouteille de 12oz. Vintage 2013. Merci Patrick.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Appearance: deep maroon almost brown in color, pours with a very large and incredibly dense beige to tan head
Aroma: grass, pine, a bit faint
Taste: slight maltiness followed by a bitterness, citrus, grass, pine
Palate: has a heavy mouthfeel, leaves mouth moist, soft carbonation, slight bitter aftertaste
Overall: a decent ipa, I may be picking up some smoke flavor, could use more complexity

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle to glass, light brown color with one finger off white head that laced nicely.Aroma of citrus and pine, that followes in the mouth. Thin but it is a summer beer. Would make a good summer session beer, even with the 6.2 alc.
