Flipside Red IPA is a rebuttal to the mild-mannered beers of summer. Tropical fruit and citrus hop flavors from the use of whole-cone Citra, Simcoe and Centennial hops are the perfect notes for this in-between season.

Pours out a reddish brown with sticky tan head. Smells like juicy grapefruit, pine and some tropical whiffs. Tastes like grapefruit, ripe melon, pine and some tropical fruit and pepper. Mouthfeel is rich and full. Overall fills a nice gap between tumbler and celebration ale. Brilliant market expansion Sierra Nevada.... ---Rated via my tastebuds and my brain.

A bitter beer with a taste of red fruits. The finish was really bitter. I quite liked this one.

Pour on tap at Black Bottle, dark orange-red pour with slightly off white head, aroma brought notes of grain, toast, and caramel into orange jam, some red fruits into a bit of spice, herbal hops. Taste was a mix of grass, pine, and orange into some sweet fruit, caramel, some spicy notes in there as well, finishing bitter.

Bottle. Pours an auburn brown with a nice-looking, yellowish brown head. Aroma is light with some pine. Taste is light too, some pine and caramel. Probably rather old unfortunately.

Pours a gorgeous amber red color, with nice lacing and some head retention. Tastes very malty, with sweet background notes. A good beer, but nothing too memorable on the palate.

Bottle from the trembling madness in York. Not my bag. More biscuity. Not floral or hoppy

Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. Pours dark amber-brown in colour with a large foamy head. It has a rich malty, burnt toffee and liquorice flavour with floral red fruit, roasted notes and pine on the smooth, creamy finish. Excellent!
