COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Flipside Red IPA is a rebuttal to the mild-mannered beers of summer. Tropical fruit and citrus hop flavors from the use of whole-cone Citra, Simcoe and Centennial hops are the perfect notes for this in-between season.

Great IPA for the summer. Great blend of hops that make this beer flavorful but not overwhelming. Refreshing. This one could become a mainstay.

Hazy dark amber to mahogany color with creamy head. It combines some good caramel and lemony hops, in a good balance; mild residual sweetness.

This poured a ruby red color with a white head. Aroma was of toasted malt, catamrl and tropical and resinous hops. Flavor was similar, nice fruit forward, catamrl sweetness balance. Better than expected

Bottle. Light red color. Good hop aroma and flavor, sweet malt, and citrus, making this a well balanced ipa. Dry hop and bread finish.

Poured in wrong glassware (normal pint glass). Brown pour with an offwhite/tannish frothy head that lingers longer than expected. For mentioning on the bottle having three types of hops, I was expecting a bit more hoppy bite. Has the hints of citrus, hints of the pine resin. There is a malt balance to it (somewhat roasted). Getting the citrus upfront and the pine at the back, Overall, it is pretty mild. A tad disappointing. I would rather just have a torpedo.

Amber in color. Frothy white head with spotty lacing. Mild hoppy aroma. Crisp and clean on the palate. Has a smooth finish. Definitely a sessionable beer. Not as hoppy in the taste as I was hoping for. Not a bad beer for 5 bucks a case.

33cl bottle from 137 : an brew pub. Pours red with little white head. Fruity aroma with bitter taste. Citrus taste with some caramell flavours. Long bitter aftertaste.

Hop forward but great balance. This IPA starts with vibrant citrus fruit notes and finishes with a darker roast malty flavor that is almost smokey.

Not seeing the reason for the high rating. For a red ale is missing a sweet malt backbone. For an IPA is missing the hop punch. It’s like a slightly hopped amber, nothing special. I was hoping for much more. Does look beautiful though.

Bottle pour deep copper with thin white head. Nose pine, resin, sweet malt , and hint of grain. Taste grapefruit bite up front, followed by dank hop, and pine. Moderate bitter finish.

Citrusy and piney aroma, but more muted than most IPA’s. Pours a reddish brown with a modest tan head. Taste is hoppy but with noticeable roasted malts. Somewhat bitter on the finish. This is a solid, but not great offering from Sierra Nevada. A good alternative to a straight-up, super hoppy IPA.
