Flipside Red IPA is a rebuttal to the mild-mannered beers of summer. Tropical fruit and citrus hop flavors from the use of whole-cone Citra, Simcoe and Centennial hops are the perfect notes for this in-between season.

Flavours are sweet toffee with orange rind and earthy leafiness. Mango with brown sugar and herbal notes. Dry and lightly nutty on the finish. Mellow and spicy. Good.

Kuparinruskea, kirkas, ohut ja tiheä vaahtofilmi. Tuoksussa märkää nahkatakkia, maussa sitrusta ja karamellisuutta. Vähän lyhkäseksi jäi raapustelut tällä kertaa.

12oz bottle from Westholme Stores, Goring. A reddish chestnur pour with tight cream head that leaves attractive lacing on the glass; some tropical fruit on the nose, but also some birch and spruce; the piney hops seem to dominate the taste, although there are some sweet, fruity malts hidden underneath. An assertive IPA.

olio (6799) - Tampere, FINLAND - FEB 11, 2015
355 ml bottle. Bottled on 26.08.2014.
Pours clear dark mahogany color with a large head. Malty on the nose, caramel and some resin, hops are kind of mellow, expected from a not so fresh bottle. Sweet dark malts, nutty dryness, caramel and orange, mild resin too. A bit too nutty and malty for my taste, not that fresh anymore either, nice bitterness though.
