COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Foam is a German-style Pilsner, light bodied and easy drinking, yet loaded with flavor. Brewed with a mix of European and American malts, balanced by a spicy, and herbal hop kick. Brewed specifically for Phish festivals, Foam is a crisp and refreshing traditional pale gold lager beer. In the words of Phish— “I’m looking through, And it all would be, So crystal clear, If it wasn’t for the foam.” Great music, great beer, and good times.

On tap @ Daily Pint. Golden pour with a white head. Initial smell is kind of bland, but from there things get pretty bread forward. Toasted malt, floral hops, yeast, and some citrus peel. The flavor has a nice sweetness to it. Plenty of bread and toast. Some citrus, floral hops, and a touch of yeast.

Draft. Pours clear pale yellow with medium white head. Smell is grains, grassy, earthy/spicy hops. Taste is much the same with a linger mild bitterness. Mouthfeel is perfect, a bit creamy but light with nice carbonation. I’m a sucker for pils in the summer. Fresh and tasty.

A very well balanced pilsener that I enjoy. Solid clean honey grain malt with noble hop harmony. It would be so crystal clear if it wasn’t for the foam

Comes out of the tap a somewhat hazy solar yellow with a decent ivory head. Aroma is not strong, but invites a taste with its malty and subtly fruity tones. Flavor is largely malty with a subtle undertone of pear, crisp and refreshing if not complex. Mouthfeel has OK texture and fizz, seems about average for a pils. Fair to middlin’ and leaning towards middlin’. Pils fans should like it.

Ha... my second Phish related beer of the day! (the other one was Tweezer Tripel at Magnolia in San Francisco) It pours yellow with a small white head. The aroma is floral with some light grains and maybe some lemon. The flavor is pretty malty yet dry with solid floral bitterness. LIghtly spicy hop finish. A good American style pils!

Pours pale gold onto a shaker. Bright white head with good retention recedes to coat surface. Mild caramel aromas. Crusp with sweet caramel upfront turning to mild yeast before the lasting pine finish.

A beer only a Phish fan could love. Or a huge stoner. Dank schwaggy hop nose. Crystal clear with good lacing. Gross dank vegetal hoppy flavor that lingers.
