COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Foam is a German-style Pilsner, light bodied and easy drinking, yet loaded with flavor. Brewed with a mix of European and American malts, balanced by a spicy, and herbal hop kick. Brewed specifically for Phish festivals, Foam is a crisp and refreshing traditional pale gold lager beer. In the words of Phish— “I’m looking through, And it all would be, So crystal clear, If it wasn’t for the foam.” Great music, great beer, and good times.

On tap at Cole’s. Served initially too cold, its true balance and flavour reveals itself as it warms to room temperature. Light yellow, and lacey, but yet spot on and so drinkable. Very good dinkability. Very good malting that adds to the mild but significant bitterness.

Gabf. Absolutely clear, golden appearance with a white head. Very nice, grassy noble hoppy, grainy pils aroma. Very crisp, grainy pils, straw, grassy hoppy flavor with a clean, crisp finish. Well done.

GABF 2011 - so excited for this - a lovely, fresh, dry and crisp pils - dry, crackery malt base serves the crisp, floral and grassy hops well - minimal sweetness and clean, lean maltiness throughout - finish is slightly peppery - just a flat out world class pils - kept going back for more - this isn’t in the regular line-up because?

Draught at Beer Run. Bright straw yellow pour with a generous foamy white head. Lightly sweet nose with bready notes and a nicely spicy and grassy hop character. Bready and grassy flavor with some toasted grain and super grassy hop profile. Dry and spicy palate.

Served on draft at Beer Run. Pours a clear golden amber with a medium sized creamy head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of bready malts and floral and grassy hops. The taste is bitter herbal and grassy hops with pale malts. Medium bodied. Quite refreshing. I could see this drinking well at an outdoor music festival.

Tap @ The BeerMongers Anniversary Fest... Poured golden with a white head. Really pils, biscuity, barley malt, caramel sweetness, moderate hop bitterness, grassy and floral hops, and a short finish.

Draught at the Lovin’ Cup. Deep dark golde color with lace. Malty, grainy aroma with grassy noble hops. Nice malt flavor, good cereal and bread, great hops. Nice German style pils, top stuff.

Draft @ small bar. Clear as fuck reddish gold poor with very little lasting head. Flavors are...well...hard to find. I mean, there may be some crispy hoppness...but overall, its pretty boring. That being said, its not grossly fueled with adjuncts and off flavors like many attempts at the style...but its just way too straight forward and full of nothingness to be taken seriously as anything other than...uh, whatever this is, I forget...I’m starting to get buzzed (not off of this, mind you).

Tap at Blind Tiger - man oh man. Hope this sees wider distribution, because it could definitely give Noble or Prima a run for it’s money. Nice crackery grains and sweet caramel malts. Nicely hopped, with floral aromatics and herbal spice that dries out in the finish. Perfect pils that leaves the tongue wanting more.

Tap at BT. Pours a light golden nearly clear with good carbonation and nice fluffy white head. Aroma is big fresh flowery hops, slight grassy, fresh cut hay, then nice clean biscuity bready pils malts, and cracker. Flavor is also high on the floral hops, slight grass, bigger than expected malt profile, clean malts- bready, a bit doughy, finish is not sweet but does not come through quite as crisp or snappy as many german pis, but instead finishes smooth and a bit malty/bready and resembles a hoppy helles overall. Still an awesome lager that I could drink a shit load of. Very nice.
