COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Foam is a German-style Pilsner, light bodied and easy drinking, yet loaded with flavor. Brewed with a mix of European and American malts, balanced by a spicy, and herbal hop kick. Brewed specifically for Phish festivals, Foam is a crisp and refreshing traditional pale gold lager beer. In the words of Phish— “I’m looking through, And it all would be, So crystal clear, If it wasn’t for the foam.” Great music, great beer, and good times.

3oz pour at Max’s in Baltimore. Pours a clear, bright yellow with some lacing white head. Nose is yeasty, floral, a little honey, a little lemon. Flavor is sweet, honey, light malt, lightly bitter, pears. Medium bodied, sweet, crisp finish. Solid pils.

On tap in a plastic cup. Pours amber with a lacy head. Aroma of pale and bread malts with citrusy hops and a little spice. Flavor the same, a little light on the hops. Average texture. An alright beer.

Tap @ the brewery. Medium head with medium duration. Color is yellow. Aroma and taste are rich grass, straw, lavender notes, malt and hops.

Draft @ small bar. Clear as fuck reddish gold poor with very little lasting head. Flavors are...well...hard to find. I mean, there may be some crispy hoppness...but overall, its pretty boring. That being said, its not grossly fueled with adjuncts and off flavors like many attempts at the style...but its just way too straight forward and full of nothingness to be taken seriously as anything other than...uh, whatever this is, I forget...I’m starting to get buzzed (not off of this, mind you).

tap. clear gold almost no head? for a beer called foam. floral and grass hop notes with the usual pils malt. a clean, dry, honest pilsner with a fresh hop character. its fine, just wish it had some foam.

On draft at Bader Field. Poured hazy yellow with soapy head. Flavor of sweet corn malts, slightly grassy. Floral, mildly bitter finish. Kind of an astringent finish. Thin. Was hoping for more.

Light grain aroma. Clear golden color with no head despite the name. Light sweetand bitter beginning that fades.

Foam is not entirely accurate here. This has more of a soda like feel to it. Not bad, but rather meh.
