COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
DO NOT rate the 2014 Beer Camp Double IPA under this listing. If you have the 24 oz. silk screened bottle, that beer should be rated under Sierra Nevada Beer Camp Across America West Coast Double IPA.

Originally Beer Camp #29 from 06/2010. Brewed by Chris and Joe DeCicco, in conjunction with Sierra Nevada’s Beer Camp, an American Double IPA that is as formidable as its Sci-Fi monster namesake. Ghidorah is golden-amber in color, with a pronounced hop-forward presence. Grassy, resinous, and citrus peel dominate the aroma. It has significant malt body, which adds balance to the beer, but the malt quickly subsides toward a firm bitter finish.

Small draught sample@SBWF2011. Slightly hazy goldeny orange colour, minor head. Aroma is fruity and floral hops with some grassy and bready malts. Flavour is sweet bready and caramelly maltyness along with some fruity, floral and nectary notes. Quite mild DIPA, but hides the alcohol quite well, even though it’s no "Hop bomb".

Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival. Clear golden, small head. Concentrated salty grapefruit. Dryish with clean mouthfeel and medium body. Rather hard with lots of bitter orange. Massively bitter finish. Not really all that flavourful, mostly abrubt and bitter.

Hazy amber beer, tidy white head. Smooth semi dry palate, soft. Creamy fresh malt base. Sweetish hops - pine and pineapple. Traces of orange and bitter grapefruit citrus. Dry finish with a long bitter linger. Very nice!

A: The pour is a clear golden color with a big white head. S: Not exactly my idea IPA aroma. Grassy and floral hops with body odor and mild earthy hops. Some citrus and pine notes, and not really much malt or sweetness, but not terribly good. T: The flavor is more of the same. Earthy, floral, and grassy hops with a hint of bready malt flavor. Fairly bitter with a lot of pine flavors, but not much else going on. M: Medium in body and just about medium carbonation. O: Really disappointing from Sierra Nevada. This was by far the worst beer in the pack.
