COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
As winter begins its slide toward the sunny days of spring, we bring you Glissade Golden Bock to help you enjoy the ride. Glissade is a remarkably mellow take on the traditional spring bock. With restrained sweetness, we emphasize subtle malt flavor, balanced against delicate aromas of spicy and floral European hops. This complex balance helps Glissade slide across the palate—bracing us against the last cold nights of winter, while its bright golden color turns our thoughts toward spring.

Bottled 350ml. Clear pale golden with a white head. A huge amount of boletus showing up in the nose. Caramel throughout. Sweet. Earthy hops. Very metallic. Surprisingly alcoholic for a 6.4 ABV beer. Not at all my kind of heller bock.

A hazed orange amber bock with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with grassy hops, lightly piney, not bad. In mouth, a smooth caramel malt with nice grassy German hops, lingering bitterness, a bit thin, but overall, quite decent.

Aroma is sweet with some ripe fruits, honey, hops and hints of alcohol. Flavour is stale and sweet with honey, fruits, hay and grainy malt. Some alcohol in the finish. Decent.

Into the glass pours a strong golden Bock with a fine, flat head. Strongly smell of sweet hops, grainy-malty aroma with slightly alcoholic nuances. Starts strong malty and grainy, slightly hoppy-sweet and very spicy. The middle part has a very slightly alcoholic note, paired with sweet grains and hops. Goes to a very grainy and hoppy-sweet finish!

35cl bottle. Clear golden colour with a good formation of white head but quickly diminishes. Aroma is malty, hoppy and buttery. The flavour is malty, with a moderate bitterness and bready. The final is slightly bittery and with a medium duration. Carbonation is soft to medium. Body is medium. Texture is oily.

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass. Pours a clear golden color, with carbonation bubbles seen rising up even as the beer has been sitting a few minutes. The head was a medium sized white head, but disappeared rather fast. Lacing retains.

Smells pleasant, a crisp malty and hoppy smell to it.

Taste is earthy, malty, with hops hitting you last. Very crisp tasting beer.

Medium bodied beverage with high carbonation.

Rather drinkable beer. I drank 5 of these throughout a night without realizing it.
